Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain excellent performance over broad band for the performance at blocking band, by constituting the distributed constant circuit for two edge surfaces vertical to the direction of electromagnetic wave propagation of the capacitive lines adjacent each other through the connection of the adjacent inductive lines. CONSTITUTION:The distributed constant circuit is constituted by alternately connecting the capacitive line consisting of the wide width lines 23,24,25 and the inductive line consisting of the narrow width lines 26,27 to the dielectric board 22, and the high frequency filter further provides the input and output lines 28 and 29. The narrow width lines 26,27 forming the inductive line are connected to the end surfaces 30,31 orthogonal to the direction of propagation of electromagnetic waves of the wide width line 24. Further, the narrow width lines 26,27, input line 28, and output line 29 are connected to the end surface 30,31 of the wide width lines 23 and 25 respectively, and its coupling is sufficiently apart so that unnecessary coupling is absent, and excellent performance can be obtained for the blocking band.
