Abstract
PURPOSE:To convert light into electric energy with high efficiency by arranging in parallel or laminally alternately great numbers of electrode plates to which a photosensitive colorant is fixed in a covalent conding manner on the surface of a flat plate, etc., covered with a light-permeable n-type semiconductor. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a plate of glass, quartz, etc., is covered with a light- permeable n-type semiconductor thin film of titanium oxide, tin oxide, strontium- titanium oxide, etc., to form a covered electrode.
