Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily obtain electric energy on the sea or the like without positional restruction, by directly utilizing the reciprocation of waves or the like for the relative reciprocation of an electricity generator. CONSTITUTION:An electricity generator 8 has a float 9 on the sea. A cylindrical body 5' is vertically placed in the sea so that the top of the body is positioned slightly over the top of the float 9 by a float 11 and a weight 12 for balance. Even if waves come to the generator, the cylindrical body 5' is kept almost vertical by the interaction of the float 11 and the weight 12 but the other float 9 responds with high sensitivity to the vertical motion of the waves. At that time, a coil 7 in the cylindrical body 5' and a magnet 3 around a shaft 2 are vertically moved relatively to each other to cause an electromotive force across the coil 7. The force is applied to a load 15. Electric energy is thus easily obtained from wave motion energy.
