Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform gas chromatography of a marked mirror-image isomer mixture by using a specific optically-activated compound as a solid phase.
CONSTITUTION: Through gas chromatography making a dielectric substance such as optically-activated peptide ester and amino acid amide into a solid phase, the mirror-image isomer mixture of the compound with NH radical combined with asymmetric atoms expressed by equation I[X is O and S; A and B are R1, OR2 and SR3 (provided that A and B are different radical); and R, R1, R2, and R3 are alkyl, (substitution) (aralkyl) and (substitution) allyl] is analyzed. As the above- mentioned optically-activated peptide ester, an optically-activated s-triazine dielectric substance with not less than two asymmetric atoms is recommendable which is expressed by formula II [Y and Z are -NH-E-COOR4, -NH-F-COOR4, formula III, -OR7, and halogen; E and F are amino-acid remaining radicals; R4 is esterified alcohol remaining radical; and R5, R6 and R7 are H and (cyclo) alkyl].
