Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the performance of the resistance element by forming input and output terminal electrodes and a plurality of short-circuit electrodes on one plane of a thin-sheet-shaped magnetic resistance body free of indentation with the other plane fastened on a support member specifying the length of the short-circuit electrode.
CONSTITUTION: A magnetic resistor 32 employing a mono-crystal of indium antimonide or the like for minimizing the change in the electric resistance in the magnetic field is made like a thin sheet free of indentation. One plane of the resistor 32 is fastened on the support member 31 and on the plane thereof, arranged are one or more short-circuit electrodes employing silver, iridium or the like, an input terminal electrode 35 and an output terminal electrode 36 in such a manner that the length of the short-circuit electrode 33 is made at least four time as large as the transport length. This can highly facilitate the production with a noticeably higher performance because the short-circuit electrode 33 is mounted on a flat surface of the magnetic resistor free of any indentation.
