Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the quality of products uniform and easily manufacture a porous rubber stamp, by mixing a fine powder of synthetic resin in a stamping part.
CONSTITUTION: Appropriate quantities of a vulcanizing agent, a filler, etc. and a powder of a salt, which can be easily dissolved in water and cannot be decomposed into a gas at a vulcanization temperature, are added to rubber. The mixture is kneaded and shaped as a basic material. Then, appropriate quantities of a vulcanizing agnet, a filler, etc. are added to rubber. The mixture is kneaded and then dissolved or dispersed in a volatile solvent. A powder of a salt, which can be easily dissolved in water and cannot be decomposed into a gas at the vulcanization temperature, and a fine powder of a synthetic resin are dispersed in the solution or dispersion, thereby obtaining a paste. This paste is coated on the surface of the basic material. After the volatile solvent is evaporated away, the paste and the basic material are pressurized and vulcanized in a prescribed metal mold. The powder of the salt is washed off. This results in poviding a porous rubber stamp having a stamping part mixed with the fine powder of the synthetic resin.
