PURPOSE:To obtain the characteristic of ignition timing for an engine in accordance with the opening degree of a throttle valve by controlling the generation of an output signal of an ignition timing computation means on the basis of an opening degree signal corresponding to the opening degree of the throttle valve of the engine. CONSTITUTION:When a throttle valve 13 is turned, a sliding element 141 of a variable resistance 14 interlocked therewith is turned to change the value of a resistance 101. Accordingly, the value of a discharge current i2 of a condenser 105 is changed in accordance with the opening degree of the throttle valve 13, and the inclination of the output voltage of an operation amplifier 106 is changed to increase (or decrease) the angle of the output voltage of H-level in a frip-frop (F.F) circuit. Consequently, the position of inversion from H-level to L-level in the F.F circuit 9 is advanced (or delayed) in accordance with the opening degree of the throttle valve 13. As the result, the generating position (ignition timing) of trigger voltage is given an angle of lead in accordance with the opening degree of the throttle valve 13 on the basis of the lead angle characteristic.
