Abstract

PURPOSE:To highten the speed of treatment without causing contamination by a method wherein, when sucking diluent and discharging liquid from the probe having sucked sample through an air layer the sample is slowly discharged while diluent is quickly discharged. CONSTITUTION:In the discharging process the number of revolutions of a motor 21 is so controlled by the control circuit 22 through the motor driving circuit 23 as to relatively slow down the forced speed of piston 20, namely the discharging speed until a part of sample liquid 12, air layer and diluent 14 is discharged from the tip of the probe 16 and later the number of revolutions of the motor 21 is so controlled as to relatively quicken the discharging speed for discharging the remaining diluent 14 into the reaction pipe 15. For changing the discharging speed it is to detect that the piston 20 is in the prescribed position and in case the pulse motor is used the pulse number is counted. Thereby it is possible to prevent the contamination, dilute with high accuracy and to highten the analytical treatment speed.
