Abstract

PURPOSE:To curtail electric power consumed of the electromotor and effectively make use of energy reserved by the fly wheel by a method wherein an electromotor supply is ON-OFF controlled according to a condition of load. CONSTITUTION:With the operation of a starting switch STR for ON, a speed conrol circuit AS makes ON-control of switching circuits SCR1, SCR2 to drive the electromotor IM for driving the flywheel. When an output of a speed detecting generator TG reaches a set point, the switching circuits are turned off. A rotary cam switch RS is put off at about the slide lower dead point of a press device connected with the fly wheel and turns the switching circuits off. The switching circuits are put off even when a clutch is not putin engagement within a period of time decided, after the electromotor IM has been started.
