Abstract
PURPOSE:To cope with the fluctuation of environmental temperature well, by nearly equalizing the coefficient of thermal expansion of a diffraction grating to that of a supporting structure body supporting the diffraction grating rotatably. CONSTITUTION:A glass diffraction grating 1 is placed on a metallic rotating piate 2 and the first sign bar 3 made of the material having the smaller coefficient of thermal expansion than the grating 1 is fixed on the plate 2 and moreover, the second metallic sign bar 4 is connected to the bar 3. In case of using the material having the coefficient of thermal expansion nearly the same to glass, all of a supporing structure 10 consisting of the sign bar and rotating plate may be constructed by said material. In such a manner, the coefficient of thermal expansion of the grating 1 is made nearly the same to the totalized coefficient of thermal expansion of the structure 10. The value of d/l is not varied and the accuracy of wavelength is not lowered, even if the grating 1 and the structure 10 are expander or contracted by a temperature because a wavelength lambda of emitted light is proportional to a groove interval (d) of the grating 1 and is reversly propotional to a length (l) of the structure 10.
