Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the hazard of wax deposition by providing a control valve in a fuel return channel from an injection pump and an injection nozzle and by returning a return fuel to a filter or a tank in response to the temperature of fuel. CONSTITUTION:A switch-over valve 40 provided with a return pipe 36 serving as a branch channel is installed between return pipes 32 and 34 for return fuel from an injection nozzle 30 to a tank 20. The port 44 is connected to the tank 22 while the port 46 is connected to a main filter 26. The temperature of fuel in the main filter 26 is detected by a temperature detection sensor 48. By the action of a solenoid 50, a switch-over valve 40 is automatically selected so that the entire return fuel returns to the main filter 26 before attaining a specified temperature and the entire return fuel returns to the tank after attaining said temperature. With this construction, therefore, a relatively high temperature of oil can be maintained.
