Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the corrosion of waste water treatment devices, methane fermentation tanks, etc. and the generation of malodors by allowing nitrite ions to exist in the living environments for microbes such as in the bottom water of the waste water treating devices using activated sludge or active carbon, and oil tanks.
CONSTITUTION: Nitrite ions such as sodium nitrite, potassium nitrite, calcium nitrite or the like are allowed to exist at ≥50ppm in the living environments for microbes such as the bottom water of waste water treatment tanks using activated sludge or active carbon, and oil tanks, methane fermentation tanks, polluted river, water soluble lubricants, or the like.
