Abstract

PURPOSE:To surely assure the separation of a transfer marerial from a photoreceptor, and maximize an effective image area by providing a bender for the leading end part of transfer material which bends the angular corner part of a transfer sheet directing to a photosensitive drum in a manner so as to float from the surface of the photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:A revolving roller 24 is so arranged as to revolve in the same direction as that of a conveying roller 22. At this time, a bending blade 24a revolves while gnawing into an elastic roller 23 via a transfer sheet, and the elastic roller 23 which is not given rotary driving force revolves by being driven by the revolution of the bending blade 24a, while at that time the angular corner of a transfer sheet S directing to a photosensitive drum is bent so as to float from the surface of the photoreceptor. Since the device of this invention is constituted of such bender for the angular corner part of the leading end of the transfer sheet and a stripping member such as a stripping nozzle 36, the separation of the transfer sheet from the surface of the photoreceptor is assured, and the image area is set at a maximum extent.
