Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a chassis dynamometer and prodide a degree of freedom to the disposition of a flywheel by mounting a dynamometer in a rotor, and rotating the rotor by utilizing the revolution of the roller. CONSTITUTION:While a rotor 12 of a dynamometer 11 is fixed on the inside circumferential surface of a rotor 10, a stator 13 is fixed to a shaft 15 supported to an oscillating bearing 14. A torque meter is coupled via a coupling 17 mounted to one end of the shaft 15. A gear 19 secured to the side plate part 10a of the roller 10 is meshed with the gear 20 on a revolving shaft 21 for a flywheel supported rotatably to a gear box 22. The revolution of the roller 10 is overdriven by gear trains 19, 20 and are taken out in the direction parallel to the shaft 15. A coupling 23 is fixed to the shaft 21 and the flywheel is connected.
