Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent corrosion between heterogeneous metals by inserting and holding stainless steel and aluminum laminate belt materials into the grooved parts made of aluminum angle, in a composite rigid trolley using stainless steel on the contact face of an electric collector.
CONSTITUTION: A composite rigid trolley is bent and formed into U-letter shape using c, c forming rolls on the both sides so as to be surface-contacted in such a way that the central part of aluminum belt material 12 of belt clad material is splinted on the plane 22 of the head part 22 of aluminum angle 20. At the same time, edge parts on both sides of the clad material 10 are inserted into grooves 24, 24 on the inside of lug parts 23, 23 of the aluminum angle 20, then shoulder parts 23, 23 are rolled and reshaped using a rolling mill, and the lug parts 23, 23 have the both side edges of the clad material 10 held and integrated. The clad material 10 has a thinner aluminum belt material 12 metallurgically bound as composite metal on one side of a thinner stainless steel made belt material 11.
