Abstract
PURPOSE:To simultaneously process a plurality of capacitor elements and to obtain a preferable capacitor by simultaneously conducting essential steps of forming the elements in a continuous state. CONSTITUTION:Platelike electrode coupling 13 for coupling electrodes of an element 2 to all electrodes of the element 2 at both ends of the element 2 is formed by flame spraying high melting point metal in a state that the end faces of the elements 2 are aligned and fixed to frames 10A, 10B interposed at a suitable interval between the elements to form an element coupling structure 14. The flames 10A, 10B are removed, and the structure 14 is simultaneously voltage-processed, dried, impregnated as capacitor processing steps, and the coupling 13 are simultaneously polished. The coupling 13 is cut to be separated to individual chips 20, the electrodes of the chips 20 are plated as electrode terminals 15, 15'. Thus, a plurality of elements 2 can be simultaneously processed to obtain preferable capacitors.
