Abstract

배면 프로젝션 텔레비젼세트에서의 투사스크린은, 입사되는 영상광을 투사스크린의 광축을 중심으로 집중시키는 프레넬렌즈, 및 프레넬렌즈로부터 수신되는 영상광을 확산시키는 렌티큘라렌즈부를 포함하며 그 외측표면부가 강화유리인 광학산부재를 구비한다. 이렇게 투사스크린의 외측표면이 강화유리로 제작되므로써, 넓은 시야각을 제공함을 물론 흠집이나 파손등이 잘 일어나지 않는다.

배면 프로젝션 텔레비젼세트에서의 투사스크린
제1도는 일반적인 배면 프로젝션 텔레비젼세트에서의 스크린의 구조를 나타낸 사시도.
제2도는 제1도의 렌티큘러렌즈(12)의 기능을 설명하기 위한 설명도.
제3(a)도는 본 발명에 따른 배면 프로젝션 텔레비젼세트에서의 투사스크린의 일실시예를 나타낸 측단면도.
제3(b)도는 본 발명에 따른 투사스크린의 다른 실시예를 나타낸 측단면도.
제3(c)도는 본 발명에 따른 투사스크린의 또다른 실시예를 나타낸 측단면도.
제4(a)-(b)도는 제3(a)-(c)도의 투사스크린들이 각각 둥근형태 및 평평한 형태로 제작된 경우를 설명하기 위한 도면들.

본 발명은 배면(rear) 프로젝션 텔레비젼세트의 투사스크린에 관한 것으로, 특히 CRT 및 투사렌즈등으로 구성된 프로젝터로부터의 영상광이 결상되는 스크린이 넓은 시야각 및 브라운관에서 느낄 수 있던 직시감을 갖도록 한 배면(rear) 프로젝션 텔레비젼세트의 투사스크린에 관한 것이다.
배면 프로젝션 텔레비젼세트의 스크린은 일반적으로 프레넬(Fresnel)렌즈와 렌티큘러(lenticular)렌즈로 구성된다. 제1도의 참조번호 10은 스크린이다. 참조번호 11인 프레넬렌즈는 브라운관측에 위치하며, 스크린(10)의 중심으로부터 떨어진 주변부를 통해 지나가는 광선을 스크린(10)의 중심쪽으로 집중시킨다. 참조번호 12인 렌티큘러렌즈는 제2도에서와 같이 스크린의 수평방향특성을 넓게하여 밝기가 스크린(10)의 전체 주변범위에서 균일해지도록 한다.
기존의 배면 프로젝션 텔레비젼세트의 경우, 프레넬(Fresnel)렌즈 및 렌티큘러(lenticular)렌즈는 아크릴재질로 제작되므로, 그 스크린은 시청각도에 따라 시야각의 차이가 크게나 전체적으로 시야각이 좁게되는 문제가 있다. 또한 재료특성상 강도가 약해 흠집이 잘나고 쉽게 파손될 뿐만 아니라, 화질 열화의 문제를 불러 일으킨다.
따라서, 본 발명의 목적은 상술한 문제점들을 극복하기 위해서 안출한 것으로서, 영상광이 결상되는 표면을 강화유리로 제작한 배면 프로젝션 텔레비젼세트의 투사스크린을 제공함에 있다.
이와같은 본 발명의 목적을 달성하기 위한, 배면 프로젝션 텔레비젼세트에서의 투사스크린은, 입사되는 영상광을 상기 투사스크린의 광축을 중심으로 집중시키는 프레넬렌즈; 및 상기 프레넬렌즈로부터 수신되는 영상광을 확산시키는 렌티큘러렌즈부를 포함하며 그 외측표면부가 강화유리로 구성된 광확산부재를 포함한다.
이하, 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예들을 상세히 설명한다.
제3(a)-(c)도는 본 발명에 따른 배면 프로젝션 텔레비젼세트용 투사스크린, 일명 글라스크린(glasscreen)의 실시예들을 각각 보여주는 측단면도들이다. 제3(a)도에 보여진 투사스크린에서, 프레넬렌즈(30)는 프레넬렌즈특성을 갖는 자외선경화수지 필름, 또는 투명시트 등으로 구성되며, 프로젝션 텔레비젼세트의 안쪽을 향하고 있는 원형의 피치들(31)을 구비한다. 광확산부재(201)는 그 외측에 위치한 강화유리층(20)과 그 내측에 위치한 렌티큘러렌즈층(21)으로 이루어진다. 렌티큘러렌즈층(21)은 렌티큘러렌즈기능을 갖는 즉, 확산 및 결상기능을 갖는 확산재 또는 확산필름으로 이루어진다. 렌티큘러렌즈층(21)이 확산재로 이루어진 경우 강화유리층(20)에 코팅되며, 확산필름으로 이루어진 경우 강화유리층(20)에 부착된다. 이러한 형태의 광확산부재(201)는 가압성형에 의해 프레넬렌즈(30)와 일체화된다.
본 발명에 따른 다른 실시예의 측단면도를 보여주는 제3(b)도에서, 광확산부재(203)는 강화유리층(20)과 강화유리층(20)을 부식시킴에 의해 만들어진 렌티큘러렌즈면(23)으로 이루어진다. 이 렌티큘러렌즈면(23)은 제3(a)도와는 달리 홀로그래픽을 구현할 수 있는 특수물질이나 부재를 도포하거나 취부하여 구성된다. 그러므로, 렌티큘러렌즈면(23)은 홀로그램의 광학적 특성을 갖게 된다. 광확산부재(203)는 렌티큘러렌즈면(23)과 프레넬렌즈(30)사이에 끼워넣어진 경화수지(25)와 함께 가압성형함에 의해 프레넬렌즈(30)와 일체화된다
제3(c)도에 보여진 또다른 실시예의 경우, 렌티큘러렌즈층(27)은 제3(a)도에서 관련하여 언급한 렌티큘러렌즈기능을 갖는 확산재 또는 확산필름, 또는 제3(b)도의 홀로그램 등으로 구성된다. 렌티큘러렌즈층(27)은 강화유리층(20)에 코팅 또는 부착된다. 광확산부재(205)는 공간이격부재(41)에 의해 프레넬렌즈(30)와 이격되며, 프레넬렌즈(30)는 고정편(42)에 의해 광확산부재(205)에 대해 고정된다.
제4(a)-(b)도는 제3(a)-(c)도에 관련하여 설명된 투사스크린의 외관을 나타낸 사시도들이다. 제4(a)도는 제3(a)-(c)도의 광확산부재(201,203 또는 205)가 기존의 브라운관의 표면 처럼 둥근(round)형태로 제작된 경우를 보여준다. 광확산부재(201,203 또는 205)는 그 모서리부근에 텔레비젼 세트의 앞면에 고정설치하기 위한 고정부재들(22a-22d)를 구비한다. 제4(b)도는 광확산부재(201,203 또는 205)가 평평한 형태로 제작된 경우를 보여준다. 제4도에 도시된 동심원은 프레넬기능을, 다수의 점들은 광확산기능을 나타낸다.
이상 서술한 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따른 배면 프로젝션 텔레비젼세트의 투사스크린은 그 외부 표면이 강화유리로 제작되므로 넓은 시야각에 더하여 브라운관에서와 같은 화질을 제공할 수 있게 되며, 흠집이나 파손등이 잘 일어나지 않아 외부환경에 대한 내구성이 강화된다. 또한, 판상체로 구성되므로 대형화가 용이해지고, 브라운관과 같이 외곽부분으로 소정의 면곡부를 줌으로써 넓은 시야각을 확보할 수 있는 잇점도 가지고 있다.

Claims (5)

  1. 배면 프로젝션 텔레비젼세트에서의 투사스크린에 있어서, 입사되는 영상광을 상기 투사스크린의 광축을 중심으로 집중시키는 프레넬렌즈; 및 상기 프레넬렌즈로부터 수신되는 영상광을 확산시키는 렌티큘러렌즈부를 포함하며 그 외측표면부가 강화유리로 구성된 광확산부재를 포함하는 투사스크린.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광확산부재의 렌티큘러렌즈부는 상기 강화유리를 부식처리하여 형성된 투사스크린.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광확산부재의 렌티큘러렌즈부는 상기 강화유리의 표면에 코팅된 광확산기능을 갖는 물질인 투사스크린.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광확산부재의 렌티큘러렌즈부는 상기 강화유리의 표면에 부착된 마이크로렌즈, 필름중의 하나인 투사스크린.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 프레넬렌즈와 상기 광확산부재는 가압성형에 의해 일체화된 투사스크린.
