Claims (22)
- (a)기체 질소의 존재하에 0.75 내지 30atm(0.075 내지 3MPa)의 압력에서, (1)질화알루미늄을 생성시키는 경우에는 불활성 고체 희석제와 혼합될 수도 있는, 알루미늄 및 알루미늄 합금으로부터 선택된 금속; 또는 (2)질화알루미늄 소판(platelet)을 생성시키는 경우에는 탄소와 혼합된 알루미늄 및 알루미늄 합금으로부터 선택된 금속; 또는 (3)위스커(whisker) 형태의 전이 금속 붕화물 또는 전이 금속 탄화물과 질화알루미늄과의 복합재를 생성시키는 경우에는 제1 전이 금속. 탄소와 붕소중에서 선택된 비금속 성분 및 제2 전이 금속(여기서, 제1 전이 금속 및 제2 전이 금속은 티탄, 지르코늄, 하프늄, 바나듐, 니오븀, 탄탈, 크롬, 몰리브덴 및 텅스텐으로부터 선택되는 상이한 금속이다)의 배합물과 혼합된 알루미늄 및 알루미늄 합금으로부터 선택된 금속; 또는 (4)고용체를 생성시키는 경우에는 (i)탄화규소(SiC), 산화알루미늄(Al2O3) 및 실리카(SiO2)로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 세라믹 물질 또는 (ii)하나 이상의 SiC 및 SiO2를 함유하거나 함유하지 않는 질화규소(Si3N4)와 Al2O3과의 배합물, 또는 (iii)규소와 탄소의 입상 배합물로부터 선택된 세라믹 물질 또는 세라믹 물질 전구체와 혼합된 알루미늄 및 알루미늄 합금으로부터 선택된 금속인 입상 물질(이 입상 물질은 혼합물을 통해 통과하는 자체-전파 연소파(self-propagating combustion wave)를 생성시키고 유지시키는 0.5 내지 1.5g/㎤의 벌크 밀도 및 알루미늄 금속 함량을 지닌다)을 금속 중 알루미늄의동시 연소를 개시하는 온도로 가열함으로써 점화시키는 단계 및(b)연소파를 혼합물 전체에 통과시켜, 입상 물질의 알루미늄 중의 75중량% 이상을 질화알루미늄 또는 질화알루미늄 고용체로 전환(질화알루미늄 소판을 제조하는 경우에는 입상 물질의 알루미늄 중의 10중량% 이상을 질화알루미늄으로 전환시킨다)시키는 단계를 포함하여, 연소 합성에 의해 질화알루미늄, 질화알루미늄과 전이 금속 붕화물 또는 전이 금속 탄화물과의 복합재, 질화알루미늄과 하나 이상의 다른 세라믹 물질과의 고용체인 생성물을 제조하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 입상 물질이 금속과 불활성 고체 희석제의 혼합물이고, 희석제가, 혼합물의 중량을 기준으로 하여, 20 내지 80중량%의 양으로 존재하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 희석제가 질화알루미늄(AlN), 질화규소(Si3N4), 질화붕소(BN), 질화티탄(TiN), 질화하프늄(HfN), 이붕화티탄(TiB2), 탄화붕소(B4C) 또는 질화지르코늄(ZrN)인 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 기체 질소의 압력이 0.75 내지 10atm(0.075 내지 1MPa)인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 입상 물질의 벌크 밀도가 0.2 내지 1.3g/㎤이고, 입상 물질중 일부분 이상이 외부 점화원에 의해 점화되는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 입상 물질이 (4)알루미늄 및 알루미늄 합금으로 부터 선택된 금속과 하나 이상의 세라믹 물질 또는 세라믹 물질 전구체와의 혼합물이며, 이때 세라믹 물질 또는 전구체는, 혼합물의 중량을 기준으로 하여, 1 내지 75중량%의 양으로 존재하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 입상 물질 중의 알루미늄의 90% 이상이 질화알루미늄 또는 질화알루미늄 고용체로 전환되는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 기체 질소의 압력이 0.8 내지 3atm(0.08 내지 0.3MPa)인 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 입상 물질의 벌크 밀도가 0.5 내지 1.2g/㎤인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 입상 물질이 (2)탄소와 혼합된 알루미늄 및 알루미늄 합금으로부터 선택된 금속이고, 이의 벌크 밀도가 0.2 내지 1.3g/㎤인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 입상 물질이 (3)2개의 상이한 전이 금속과 붕소 또는 탄소의 배합물과 혼합된 알루미늄 및 알루미늄 합금으로부터 선택된 금속이고, 이때 입상 물질은, 총 입상 물질의 중량을 기준으로 하여, 10 내지 90중량부의 알루미늄 또는 알루미늄 합금 및 90 내지 10중량부의 2개의 상이한 전이 금속과 붕소 또는 탄소의 배합물을 함유하고, 이때 알루미늄 또는 알루미늄 합금 및 2개의 상이한 전이 금속과 붕소 또는 탄소의 배합물의 양의 총합은 100중량부인 방법.
- 제11항에 있어서, 배합물이, 배합물의 중량을 기준으로 하여, 72 내지 94중량부의 제1 전이 금속으로서의 티탄, 0.8 내지 9.5중량부의 제2 전이 금속으로서의 바나듐 및 5 내지 21중량부의 비금속 성분으로서의 탄소를 함유하고, 이때 전이 금속 및 비금속 성분의 양의 총합은 100중량부인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제12항에 있어서, 위스커(Whisker)의 두께가 0.5 내지 5㎛이고, 길이가 5 내지 100㎛인 방법.
- 제1항 및 제2항 내지 제12항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 금속이 알루미늄 합금이고, 이때 알루미늄 함량은, 합금의 중량을 기준으로 하여, 75중량% 이상인 방법.
- 제1항, 제2항, 내지 제9항, 제11항 및 제12항 주으이 어느 한 항에 있어서, 생성물이 다공체이고, (c)다공체에 하나 이상의 중합체 또는 하나 이상의 금속을용침시키는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 제15항에 있어서, 단계(b)와 단계(c) 사이에, 다공체를 실리케이트 물질로 피복시킨 후, 120℃에서 0.5 내지 2시간 동안 경화시키고, 이어서 550 내지 600℃에서 0.5 내지 2시간 동안 경화시키는 중간 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 제16항에 있어서, 직쇄 또는 측쇄 알킬 또는 알콕시알킬 실리케이트, 탄소수 1 내지 4의 알킬 알콜을 포함하고 가수분해 촉매를 포함하거나 포함하지 않는 수성 피복 용액을 사용하여 다공체의 내부 및 외부 표면에 실리케이트 물질을 피복시키는 방법.
- 제17항에 있어서, 피복 용액이 테트라에틸오르토실리케이트, 무수 에탄올, 물 및 아세트산을 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 따르는 방법에 의해 제조된 질화알루미늄(AlN) 소판, AlN-착체 전이 금속 탄화물 복합재, AlN-착체 전이 금속 붕화물 복합재 또는 AlN-함유 고유체.
- 하나 이상의 중합체가 질화알루미늄(AlN); AlN 소판; AlN-착체 전이 금속 탄화물 복합재; AlN-착체 전이 금속 붕화물 복합재 및 AlN 함유 고용체로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 다공체(여기서, 당해 다공체는 제15항에 따르는 방법에 의해제조된다)에 용침된 중합체 용침체.
- 하나 이상의 금속이 질화알루미늄(AlN) 소판; AlN-착체 전이 금속 탄화물 복합재; AlN-착체 전이 금속 붕화물 복합재; AlN 함유 고용체로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 다공체(여기서, AlN 소판, AlN-착체 전이 금속 탄화물 복합재, AlN-착체 전이 금속 붕화물 복합재 또는 AlN 함유 고용체 다공체는 제15항에 따르는 방법에 의해 제조된다)에 용침된 금속 용침체.
- 제1항의 방법으로 제조된 생성물을 소결시켜 제조한 소결체.
