Abstract
Description
Claims (11)
- i) α알루미나 80중량% 내지 99.97중량%, 산화칼슘 및 산화마그네슘으로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 알칼리 토금속 산화물(산화물, MO로서 측정함) 또는 이로 분해가능한 화합물 0.01 내지 10.0중량%, 산화규소(실리카로서 측정함) 또는 이로 분해가능한 조성물 0.01 내지 10중량% 및 산화물 형태의 지르코늄(이산화물로서 측정함) 0.01 내지 15중량%를 포함하고, 입자 크기가, 캐리어에서, α 알루미나 성분이, 제1 모드의 평균 입자 크기가 15 내지 120μ이고 제2 모드의 평균 입자 크기가 제1 모드의 ½ 미만인 1 내지 15μ인 이중 모드 입자 크기 분포를 갖도록 선택되고, 건조된 전구체의 충전 밀도가 발화된 캐리어의 충전 밀도보다 크지 않은 세라믹 성분 ; ii) 혼합물을 성형할 수 있는 양의 액체 캐리어 매질; 및 iii) 세라믹 성분을 기준으로 한 총량이 15중량% 이하인, 세라믹 결합 보조제, 윤활 보조제, 성형 보조제 및 이들의 혼합물로 본질적으로 이루어진 혼합물을 제공하는 단계(a), 혼합물을 성형하여 캐리어 전구체를 형성하는 단계(b), 캐리어 전구체를 건조시켜 액체 캐리어 매질을 제거하는 단계(c) 및 당해 전구체를 발화시켜 15 내지 60%의 본질적으로 균일한 다공도를 갖는 캐리어를 형성하는 단계(d)를 포함하는, 촉매 캐리어의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 혼합물의 세라믹 성분이 α 알루미나 85중량% 내지 99.97중량%, 규산칼슘 및 규산마그네슘으로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 알칼리 토금속 규산염 0.01 내지 6.0중량% 및 산화지르코늄 0.01 내지 10중량%를 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 선택된 α 알루미나 성분이, 평균 입자 크기가 15 내지 120μ인 약간 소결된 응집체를 포함하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 선택된 α 알루미나 성분이, 평균 입자 크기가 30 내지 90μ인 약간 소결된 응집체를 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 캐리어가 산화티탄 0.01 내지 5중량%를 제공하기에 충분한 양으로 발화되는 경우, 세라믹 성분이 산화티탄을 형성하는 화합물을 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- i) α 알루미나 90중량% 내지 99.97중량%, 산화칼슘 및 산화마그네슘으로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 알칼리 토금속 산화물(산화물, MO로서 측정함) 또는 이로 분해가능한 조성물 0.01 내지 10.0중량%, 산화규소(실리카로서 측정함) 또는 이로 분해가능한 조성물 0.01 내지 10.0중량% 및 산화물 형태의 지르코늄(이산화물로서 측정함) 0.01 내지 10중량%를 포함하고, 입자 크기가, 캐리어에서, α 알루미나 성분이, 제1 모드의 평균 입자 크기가 15 내지 120μ이고 제2 모드의 평균 입자 크기가 제1 모드의 ½ 미만인 1 내지 15μ인 이중 모드 입자 크기 분포를 갖도록 선택되고, 건조된 전구체의 충전 밀도가 발화된 캐리어의 밀도보다 크지 않은 세라믹 성분, ii) 혼합물을 성형할 수 있는 양의 액체 캐리어 매질 및 iii) 세라믹 성분을 기준으로 한 총량이 10중량% 이하인, 세라믹 결합 보조제, 윤활 보조제, 성형 보조제 및 이들의 혼합물로 본질적으로 이루어진 혼합물을 제공하는 단계(a), 혼합물을 성형하여 캐리어 전구체를 형성하는 단계(b), 캐리어 전구체를 건조시켜 액체 캐리어 매질을 제거하는 단계(c) 및 당해 건조된 전구체를 발화(여기서, 건조된 전구체의 발화 후의 중량 손실률은 15% 미만이다)시켜 15 내지 60%의 본질적으로 균일한 다공도를 갖는 캐리어를 형성하는 단계(d)를 포함하는, 촉매 캐리어의 제조방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 혼합물의 세라믹 성분이 α 알루미나 90중량% 내지 99.7중량%, 규산칼슘 및 규산마그네슘으로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 알칼리 토금속 규산염 0.01 내지 6.0중량% 및 산화지르코늄 0.01 내지 10중량%를 포함하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 선택된 α 알루미나 성분이, 제1 모드의 평균 입자 크기가 15 내지 120μ이고 제2 모드의 평균 입자 크기가 제1 모드의 ½ 미만인 1 내지 15μ인 이중 모드 입자 크기 분포를 갖는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 선택된 α 알루미나 성분이, 평균 입자 크기가 15 내지 120μ인 약간 소결된 응집체를 포함하는 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 선택된 α 알루미나 성분이, 평균 입자 크기가 30 내지 90μ인 약간 소결된 응집체를 포함하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 캐리어가 산화티탄 0.01 내지 5중량%를 제공하기에 충분한 양으로 발화되는 경우, 세라믹 성분이 산화티탄을 형성하는 화합물을 추가로 포함하는 방법.
