Claims (4)
- 하나의 OLT(Optical Line Terminal)와 다수의 ONU(Optical Network Unit)가 ODN(Optical Distribution Network)을 통해 기가비트 이더넷으로서 연결되고, 상기 ONU가 MAC(Media Access Controller)과 PCS(Physical Coding Sublayer)를 구비하는 기가비트 이더넷 콘트롤러를 구비하며, 상기 PCS가 상기 OLT로 전송할 데이터가 없는 경우에는 전송할 데이터 대신에 아이들 패턴 데이터를 발생하여 SERDES(Serializer/Deserializer)로 출력하는 기가비트 - 이더넷 수동 광 네트워크에 있어서,상기 아이들 패턴 데이터를 상기 OLT로 저레벨의 광신호로서 전송될 데이터로 변환하는 데이터 변환부와,상기 전송할 데이터가 있는 경우에는 상기 PCS로 부터 출력되는 전송할 데이터를 선택하여 상기 SERDES로 출력하고, 상기 전송할 데이터가 없는 경우에는 상기 데이터 변환부에 의해 변환된 데이터를 선택하여 상기 SERDES로 출력하는 스위칭부를 구비함을 특징으로 하는 아이들 패턴 출력 제어회로.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 데이터 변환부가,상기 아이들 패턴 데이터를 반전시키는 인버터와,상기 아이들 패턴 데이터를 상기 인버터에 통한 지연에 대응되게 버퍼링하는버퍼와,상기 인버터와 상기 버퍼의 출력을 논리곱하여 출력하는 앤드게이트를 구비함을 특징으로 하는 아이들 패턴 출력 제어회로.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 스위칭부에서 상기 전송할 데이터의 유무가, 상기 MAC으로 부터 발생하는 송신 인에이블 신호에 의해 결정됨을 특징으로 하는 아이들 패턴 출력 제어회로.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 아이들 패턴 데이터가 논리 "1"과 "0"이 교호적으로 계속 반복되는 데이터이고, 상기 데이터 변환부에 의해 변환된 데이터가 논리 "0"이 계속되는 데이터임을 특징으로 하는 아이들 패턴 출력 제어회로.
