Description
Claims (15)
- 광 디바이스에 있어서,하나 이상의 MMI-도파관;하나 이상의 브래그-격자 구조체;상기 MMI-도파관의 제1 측에 위치되는 하나 이상의 액세스 도파관; 및,상기 MMI-도파관의 제2 측에 위치된 하나 이상의 액세스 도파관을 포함하는데,상기 제 1 측 및 상기 제 2 측은 상기 MMI-도파관의 단측이며, 상기 브래그 격자 구조체는 상기 MMI-도파관 내에 위치되며, 상기 광 디바이스는 상기 브래그-격자 구조체중 하나를 각각 갖는 2개 이상의 MMI 도파관을 포함하고, 상기 제1 측은 상기 2개 이상의 MMI-도파관중 제1 MMI 도파관의 측이고 상기 제2 측은 상기 2개 이상의 도파관중 제2 MMI 도파관의 측이며, 상기 제1 MMI-도파관의 제2 측 및 상기 제2 MMI-도파관의 제1 측은 결합되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 디바이스.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제1 MMI-도파관의 제2 측 및 상기 제2 MMI-도파관의 제1 측은 서로에 대해서 측방으로 오프셋되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 디바이스.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 제1 MMI-도파관은 상기 제1 MMI-도파관에 위치된 상기 브래그-격자 구조체의 양측상에서 테이퍼 구조를 갖고, 상기 제2 MMI-도파관은 상기 제2 MMI-도파관에 위치된 상기 브래그-격자 구조체의 양측상에서 테이퍼 구조를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 디바이스.
- 광 디바이스에 있어서,제1 종방향 단부 및 상기 제1 종방향 단부와 대향되어 위치되는 제2 종방향 단부를 갖는 하나 이상의 다중-모드 간섭 도파관;상기 다중-모드 간섭 도파관의 내부에 위치된 하나 이상의 브래그-격자 구조체;상기 제1 종방향 단부에 위치된 하나 이상의 제1 테이퍼링된 액세스 도파관; 및,상기 제2 종방향 단부에 위치된 하나 이상의 제2 테이퍼링된 액세스 도파관을 포함하는데,상기 하나 이상의 다중-모드 간섭 도파관은 제1 다중 모드 간섭 도파관 및 제2 다중-모드 간섭 도파관을 포함하며, 상기 하나 이상의 브래그-격자 구조체는 제1 브래그-격자 구조체 및 제2 브래그-격자 구조체를 포함하며, 상기 제1 브래그-격자 구조체는 상기 제1 다중-모드 간섭 구조체의 내부에 위치되고 상기 제2 브래그-격자 구조체는 상기 제2 다중-모드 간섭 도파관의 내부에 위치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 디바이스.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 제1 다중-모드 간섭-도파관은 상기 제2 다중-모드 간섭 도파관에 결합되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 디바이스.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 제1 다중-모드 간섭 도파관은 도파관 및 광섬유중 적어도 하나에 의해 상기 제2 다중-모드 간섭 도파관에 결합되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 디바이스.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 제1 다중-모드 간섭 도파관은 도파관들을 직접 결합시키는 수단에 의해 상기 제2 다중-모드 간섭 도파관에 결합되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 디바이스.
- 제 5 항에 있어서,상기 제1 다중-모드 간섭 도파관은 상기 제2 다중-모드 간섭 도파관의 종축으로부터 오프셋되는 종축을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 디바이스.
