Claims (12)
- 활성화될 경우 적어도 하나의 가스를 포함하는 연소생성물을 발생시키는 추진제;상기 추진제의 주위를 에워싸며, 상기 가스를 통과시키는 구속부재;가스의 유동을 조절하기 위한 상기 구속부재의 외측에 위치되고, 확장가능한 타이밍 부재; 및상기 추진제를 점화시키며 그에 동작가능하게 결합된 점화 조립체를 포함하는 가스발생장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 구속부재가 적어도 3000psi의 압력을 견디는 재료로 이루어진 가스발생장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 구속부재 및 상기 타이밍 부재 각각이 실질적으로 비금속재인 가스발생장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 추진제가 단면적을 가지며, 상기 구속부재는 단면적을 가진 단면적을 가지며,상기 추진제의 단면적대 상기 구속부재의 내경의 단면적 비율이 약 .10 ∼ .60 범위내인 가스발생장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 추진제의 단면영역과 상기 구속부재의 내경 단면영역 사이에 틈새영역이 형성되고,상기 추진제의 단면영역의 내측에는 중앙 보어가 형성된가스발생장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 타이밍 부재에 결합되며 상기 타이밍 부재의 안쪽으로 연장되어 상기 가스로부터 열을 흡수하는 적어도 하나의 막을 더 포함하는 가스발생장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 장치는 인플레이터이며,상기 가스는 상기 인플레이터가 운송수단 내의 팽창가능한 물품에 공급하는 팽창가스인가스발생장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 구속부재가,상기 추진제의 활성화 전에 존재하며, 상기 가스가 통과하여 타이밍 부재로 누출되게 하는 소정간격 이격된 다수의 구멍을 포함하는 가스발생장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 타이밍 부재가 그의 길이방향을 따라 소정간격 이격된 다수의 계측 오리피스를 포함하는 가스발생장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 구속부재가 상기 추진제에 인접한 내층을 포함하는 다수의 층을 포함하는 가스발생장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 구속부재가,확장되지 않은 상태와 확장된 상태를 가지며, 상기 확장된 상태에서의 크기가 상기 확장되지 않은 상태에서의 크기보다 적어도 10% 큰 일정간격 이격된 다수의 구멍을 포함하는 가스발생장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 구속부재의 적어도 일부분의 외부에 장착되며, 상기 타이밍 부재의 내벽과 접촉하는 부분을 가진 마운팅 부재를 더 포함하는 가스발생장치.
