Claims (18)
- 재기록 가능한 디스크 매체 상에 리코드된 일련의 비트를 편집하는 방법으로서,삭제되어야 할 상기 리코드 된 일련의 비트의 세그먼트의 시작 점과 종료 점을 선택적으로 식별하는 단계와;상기 디스크로부터의 플레이백이 순방향으로 판독될 때는 상기 종료 점에서 연속하도록 하기 위하여, 상기 디스크의 제어 데이터 부분 내에 있는 제 1 점프 명령을 변경하는 단계와;상기 디스크로부터의 플레이백이 역방향으로 판독될 때는 상기 시작 점에서 연속하도록 하기 위하여, 상기 디스크의 제어 데이터 부분 내에 있는 제 2 점프 명령을 변경하는 단계;를 포함하고,상기 제 1 점프 명령과 제 2 점프 명령은 상기 디스크 매체의 비디오 타이틀 세트 내의 비디오 타이틀 세트 정보(VTSI: video title set information)에 포함되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 편집 방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 리코드 된 일련의 비트는 셀로 그룹지어지며, 그리고 상기 방법은 상기 시작 점과 상기 종료 점이 상기 셀 내에 각각 포함되어 있을 때는 하나의 셀을 두 개의 셀로 분할하는 단계를 더 포함하며, 상기 셀 중 제 1 셀은 상기 시작 점에서 종료 주소를 가지며, 상기 셀 중 제 2 셀은 상기 종료 점에서 시작 주소를 가지는, 편집 방법.
