Claims (10)
- 스페이서를 포함하는 액정층을 사이에 두고 하부 기판과 상부 기판이 합착되어 있는 프린지 필드 스위칭 모드 액정 디스플레이 장치에 있어서,상기 하부 기판 내측면에는 상기 액정층내의 액정 분자들을 구동시키기 위하여 프린지 필드를 형성하는 상대 전극과 화소 전극이 절연층을 사이에 두고 순차로 형성되어 있고, 상기 절연층상에는 상기 액정 분자들을 일정한 방향으로 배향시키는 하부 배향막이 형성되어 있고, 전기적 신호를 전달하는 소정의 신호 전달 라인이 상기 화소 전극과 동일층상에 형성되어 있으며,상기 상부 기판 내측면에는 상기 하부 배향막과 동일한 기능을 갖는 상부 배향막이 형성되어 있으며,상기 하부 기판 외측면에는 외부 입사광을 편광된 출사광으로 변화시키는 편광판이 형성되어 있으며,상기 상부 기판 외측면에는 검광판과 상기 신호 전달 라인과 대응되는 위치에 전도성 블랙매트릭스가 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 모드 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 상대 전극은 박스 모양으로 패터닝되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 모드 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 화소 전극은 슬릿 모양으로 패터닝되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 모드 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 슬릿은 폭이 4㎛이고, 슬릿간의 간격은 5㎛인 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 모드 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전도성 블랙매트릭스는 불투명 금속으로 이루어져 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 모드 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 불투명 금속은 단층의 크롬이나 다층의 크롬인 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 모드 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전도성 블랙매트릭스는 주변광의 반사를 차단하기 위한 저반사 처리가 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 모드 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전도성 블랙매트릭스는 적어도 하나 이상의 정렬키를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 모드 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 제8항에 있어서,상기 정렬키는 상기 하부 기판과의 정렬을 위한 어셈블리 키, 상기 상부 배향막 형성을 위한 키, 절단용 얼라인 키, 절단 정도 모니터링 키, 상기 상부 기판과 하부 기판의 합착 정도 확인용 마이크로 버니어 및 이들의 조합 중에서 어느 하나인 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 모드 액정 디스플레이 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 전도성 블랙매트릭스는 소정의 전도성 연결 수단으로 모듈의 베절 또는 인쇄회로기판에 연결되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 프린지 필드 스위칭 모드 액정 디스플레이 장치.
