Description
도 1은 도프가 침투하기 전 코어 케이블 상에 편조된 편물의 모식도이다;
도 2는 100데니어인 12개의 모노필라멘트(12)가 코어 케이블의 길이방향인 z-축으로 약 35°의 편조 각도로 나선형으로 편조된 코어 케이블(30)의 50배 확대한 현미경 사진을 나타낸다;

도 5는 중공사 멤브레인을 제조하는 전체적인 모식도로서, 가소화된 PVA 코어 케이블이 투입되고 코팅 노즐을 통과하여 중공사 멤브레인용 고분자 용액인 도프가 코어 케이블 상에 코팅되어 응고조와 세정조를 거쳐 와인더의 스풀 상에 감겨 최종 중공사 멤브레인을 형성하는 공정을 개시한다;
도 6은 와인더의 스풀에서 절단된 중공사 멤브레인 다발(bundle)의 이송을 예시하는 도면으로, 해당 다발은 열수처리하여, 가소화된 PVA 코어 케이블을 1차 제거하고, 뒤이어 묽은 차아염소산나트륨(NaOCl) 수용액으로 최종 처리되는 공정을 개시한다.
본 발명의 다른 관점은 원통형 지지체에 관한 것이다. 상기 원통형 연속상 지지체는 멤브레인을 지지한다. 상기 지지체는, 가소화된 폴리비닐알콜("PVA") 적용하여 형성된 직경이 0.5㎜ 내지 2.0㎜의 범위인 수용성 고형 코어 케이블을 포함하며, 상기 폴리비닐알콜은 가소제를 함유한다. 상기 수용성 고형 코어 케이블은 PVA 고유 밀도의 ±10%의 밀도를 지니는 섬유상의 압출물 형태를 유지하며, 상기 압출물의 표면 상에 모노필라멘트의 편물을 편조할 수 있을 만큼의 강도를 지닌다. 상기 편물은 각각 25 내지 250 데니어 범위의 6 내지 24개의 모노필라멘트에 의해 편조되며, 길이방향으로 편조 각도 20° 내지 60° 범위로 편조하여 장사방형 또는 다이아몬드 형태의 개방형 영역을 제공하기 위하여 나선형으로 편조되어 형성된다.
본 발명의 중공사 멤브레인은 관형 고분자 필름 내부에 관형의 편물 형태로 모노필라멘트가 임베딩되어 중공사 멤브레인의 내경을 형성하도록 보강된 중공사 멤브레인으로서, 상기 편물은 25 내지 250 데니어 범위의 6 내지 24개의 모노필라멘트를 나선형으로 편조하여 장사방형 또는 다이아몬드형의 개방형 영역을 제공하며, 길이 방향으로 20° 내지 60° 범위의 편조 각도를 유지하며, 상기 편물에 포함된 고분자 필름은 0.2 내지 0.6㎜ 범위의 두께를 지니는 것을 특징으로 한다.
상기 편물은 멀티 필라멘트를 포함하지 않는다.
코어 케이블 상에 편조된 편물 및 고분자 수지를 편물 상에 코팅하는 방법:
도 5는 100 데니어인 12개의 모노필라멘트(12)를 편조한 편물(10)이 코어 케이블(30)상에 감겨 있는 원통형 지지체(SC)가 언와인더(21)로부터 가이드 롤(22), (23)을 거쳐서 코팅 노즐(50)로 공급되고, 이후 코팅노즐에서 도프가 코팅되어 중공사 멤브레인을 제조하는 공정도를 개략적으로 도시하고 있다.

Claims (14)
- 관형 고분자 필름 내부에 관형의 편물 형태로 모노필라멘트가 임베딩되어 중공사 멤브레인의 내경을 형성하도록 보강된 중공사 멤브레인으로서, 상기 편물은 25 내지 250 데니어 범위의 6 내지 24개의 모노필라멘트를 나선형으로 편조하여 장사방형 또는 다이아몬드형의 개방형 영역을 제공하며, 길이 방향으로 20° 내지 60° 범위의 편조 각도를 유지하며,
상기 편물에 포함된 고분자 필름은 0.2 내지 0.6㎜ 범위의 두께를 지니며,
상기 중공사 멤브레인은 정밀여과 혹은 한외여과용 중공사 멤브레인으로 이용되는 중공사 멤브레인.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 편물은 멀티 필라멘트를 포함하지 않는 중공사 멤브레인.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 모노필라멘트는 폴리불화비닐리덴, 폴리카보네이트, 폴리스타이렌, 폴리에스테르, 폴리올레핀, 폴리아마이드, 폴리메타아크릴레이트, 폴리염화비닐 및 유리 섬유로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 것인 중공사 멤브레인.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 모노필라멘트는 서로 중첩되어 교차점을 형성하는 중공사 멤브레인.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 교차점에서 서로 겹쳐진 모노필라멘트들은 상기 중공사 멤브레인용 고분자 필름이 응고되기 전에 서로 간 이동 가능한 것인 중공사 멤브레인.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 모노필라멘트가 차지하는 체적은 전체 중공사 멤브레인 체적의 50 % 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 중공사 멤브레인.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 중공사 멤브레인은 접착 강도가 15 Kgf/㎠ 이상, 버블 포인트가 4bar 이상, 0.03㎛ 폴리스타이렌 비드의 배제율이 95% 이상인 중공사 멤브레인.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 중공사 멤브레인은 내부로부터 압력이 가해질 경우 이축 팽창이 가능한 것을 특징으로 하는 중공사 멤브레인.
- 중공사 멤브레인을 지지하는 원통형 연속상 지지체로서,
상기 지지체는 수용성 고형 코어 케이블 위에 모노필라멘트를 포함하는 편물이 나선형으로 편조되어 있으며,
상기 수용성 고형 코어 케이블은 직경이 0.5㎜ 내지 2.0㎜의 범위이고, 가소화된 폴리비닐알콜("PVA") 적용하여 형성되며, 상기 폴리비닐알콜은 가소제를 함유하고, PVA 고유 밀도의 ±10%의 밀도를 지니는 섬유상의 압출물 형태를 유지하며, 상기 압출물의 표면 상에 모노필라멘트의 편물을 편조할 수 있을 만큼의 강도를 지니며,
상기 편물은 각각 25 내지 250 데니어 범위의 6 내지 24개의 모노필라멘트에 의해 편조되며, 길이방향으로 편조 각도 20° 내지 60° 범위로 편조하여 장사방형 또는 다이아몬드 형태의 개방형 영역을 제공하기 위하여 나선형으로 편조되는 것인 원통형 지지체.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 가소제는 5 내지 20중량%의 범위의 양으로 존재하고, 폴리에틸렌 글라이콜, 폴리프로필렌옥사이드 글라이콜, 에틸렌옥사이드 캐핑된(capped) 폴리프로필렌옥사이드 글라이콜, 소르비톨, 글리세롤, 에틸렌 글라이콜, 폴리비닐피롤리돈, 펜타에리트리톨, 1,4-모노안하이드로헥시톨, 1,4-3,6-다이안하이드로헥시톨, 및 폴리비닐아세테이트 공중합체로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 것인 원통형 지지체.
- 5 내지 20중량%의 가소제로 가소화된 폴리비닐알콜로 이루어지고, 직경이 0.5 내지 2.0㎜ 범위의 코어 케이블 상에 25 내지 250 데니어 범위의 합성 수지 모노필라멘트를 장사방형 또는 다이아몬드 형태로 편조하여 개방형 관형 편물을 제조하는 단계;
중공사 멤브레인용 도프가 내경을 형성하도록 상기 코어 케이블 상에 있는 모노필라멘트의 표면 아래쪽 영역 속으로 침투할 때까지 코팅 노즐을 통하여 해당 중공사 멤브레인용 도프로 상기 관형 편물을 코팅하는 단계;
상기 도프를 응고시켜 중공사 멤브레인의 내경에 해당하는 상기 편물이 임베딩된 중공사 멤브레인을 형성하는 단계; 및
상기 코어 케이블이 제거되도록 가소화된 폴리비닐알콜이 99% 이상 제거될 때까지 열수로 세척하고, 또한 차아염소산나트륨(NaOCl), 과산화수소 및 차아염소산칼륨(KOCl)으로부터 선택된 산화제 수용액으로 추가 세척하여, 형성된 상기 중공사 멤브레인 용출 시험시 총 유기 탄소(TOC) 함량이 0.5 ppm 미만인 중공사 멤브레인을 제조하는 단계;
를 포함하는 중공사 멤브레인의 제조방법.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 중공사 멤브레인은 0.2 내지 0.6㎜ 범위의 두께를 갖는 것을특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 산화제 수용액 중의 NaOCl의 농도는 0.1 내지 0.5 중량% 범위이고, 상기 산화제 수용액의 온도는 20℃ 내지 80℃의 범위인 방법.
- 제11항에 기재된 방법에 의해 제조된 중공사 멤브레인.
