Claims (24)
- 컬러 전기영동 디스플레이를 형성하는데 유용한 서브-어셈블리를 준비하는 프로세스로서,전기영동 재료의 층 및 노출된 표면을 갖는 접착층을 포함하는 서브-어셈블리를 제공하는 단계; 및상기 접착층의 노출된 표면상에 복수의 컬러 영역들을 잉크젯 프린팅하는 단계를 포함하는, 서브-어셈블리 준비 프로세스.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,복수의 제 1 컬러 영역 및 복수의 제 2 컬러 영역이 상기 접착층의 노출된 표면상에 프린팅되며, 상기 제 1 컬러 영역 및 상기 제 2 컬러 영역은 상이한 컬러를 갖는, 서브-어셈블리 준비 프로세스.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 전기영동 재료는 바인더내에 복수의 캡슐들을 포함한 캡슐화된 전기영동 재료, 또는 폴리머-분산형 전기영동 재료를 포함하는, 서브-어셈블리 준비 프로세스.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 잉크젯 프린팅에서 사용된 잉크는, 방사선 경화성(radiation curable)이며, 상기 잉크가 프린팅된 이후, 상기 잉크를 경화시키는데 사용되는 방사선에 노출되는, 서브-어셈블리 준비 프로세스.
