Abstract
Description
미국특허출원공개번호 US-A-2003 223 339호에는, 염료계 기록층과 정보영역을 갖는 광 데이터 저장매체를 주사하는 장치가 개시되어 있다. 이 장치는, 상기 정보영역에서 판독된 상기 정보에 의거하여 결정하여 상기 매체를 호환가능한 것으로서 받아들이거나 그 매체를 호환불가능한 것으로서 거부하는 수단을 포함한다.
국제특허출원 공개번호 WO-A-03/083845에는, 염료계 기록층을 포함하고, 푸시풀 방식으로 포커싱된 방사빔에 의해 트랙킹 가능한 안내 그루브가 설치된 광 데이터 저장매체가 개시되어 있다.
Claims (8)
- 염료계 기록층을 구비하되, 사용자 정보를 광학적으로 검출 가능한 마크의 패턴으로 기록하는 평행한 트랙들을 갖고, 상기 트랙들에는 안내 그루브가 형성되고, 상기 그루브는 사용자 데이터 영역(3)과 정보 영역(2)에 존재하고, 상기 정보 영역의 상기 그루브는 매체의 형태를 나타낸 변조된 정보를 포함하고, 상기 그루브는 푸시풀 방식으로 포커싱된 방사빔(7)에 의해 추적 가능하고, 미기록된 정보영역(2)에서 정규화된 푸시풀 신호 PPN의 값이 PPN-i이고, 미기록된 사용자 데이터 영역(3)의 PPN의 값이 PPN-u인, 광 데이터 저장매체로서, PPN-i이 PPN-u보다 낮은 것을 특징으로 하는 광 데이터 저장매체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 정보는 마크 극성 바이트로 현재 저장되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 데이터 저장매체.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,0.21<PPN-i<0.52인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 데이터 저장매체.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 정보 영역(2)에서의 그루브는, 상기 사용자 데이터 영역(3)에서의 그루브의 단면과 비교하여 폭, 깊이 또는 양쪽이 감소된 단면을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 광 데이터 저장매체.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,0.26<PPN-i<0.52인 것을 특징으로 하는 광 데이터 저장매체.
