본 시험에서는 분말향료캡슐을 사용하였을 경우 치약제형 내 분말멘톨 안정도 및 캡슐 내 멘톨함량의 경시변화를 평가하기 위하여 하기와 같은 시험을 수행하였다.In this test, the following tests were carried out to evaluate the change of powder menthol stability in dentifrice formulations and the menthol content in capsules over time when powdered flavor capsules were used.
먼저, 상기 제형예 1과 비교제형예 1의 치약을 0, 30, 40 및 50℃의 조건에서 각각 1주일, 1개월 및 3개월 동안 항온실에서 보관한 후 분말멘톨 안정도를 비교하였다. 제형예 1에 대해서는 분말멘톨캡슐의 안정도와 멘톨함량을 각각 외관관찰과 기체 크로마토그래피 분석을 통해 확인하였고, 그 결과를 하기 표 3에 나타내었다. 여기서 멘톨함량은 초기 배합량 대비 중량%로 나타내었다. 비교제형예 1의 경우 외관으로는 분말멘톨의 안정도를 확인하기 어려웠으며 제조직후 치약을 손으로 문질러 촉감을 통해 멘톨분말의 존재를 확인할 수 있었으나 1주일 경과 후 다시 확인하였을 때는 멘톨분말이 느껴지지 않아, 치약 제형 내에서 형태를 유지하지 못하고 용해됐음을 알 수 있었다.First, the toothpaste of Formulation Example 1 and Comparative Formulation Example 1 were stored in a constant temperature room for one week, one month, and three months at 0, 30, 40, and 50 ° C., respectively, and then compared to powder menthol stability.
