Abstract
Description
도 4 내지 도 9는 본 발명의 제1실시예에 따른 액정표시장치의 제조방법의 제조공정도이다.
여기서, 어레이 기판(10) 상에 잔존하는 씰패턴(30)의 폭은 최초 점착테이프와 일부 중첩되도록 도포하여 형성한 씰패턴(30)의 폭보다 작아 지게 된다.

20 : 점착테이프 30 : 씰패턴
40 : 스크라이빙 휠
Claims (4)
- 제1기판과 제2기판을 합착하여 형성하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법에 있어서,
상기 제1기판 상에 일정 폭을 가지는 점착테이프를 부착하되, 절단을 위한 커팅라인이 상기 점착테이프의 내측에 위치하도록 부착하는 단계;
상기 커팅라인을 따라 제1폭을 갖는 씰패턴이 형성되도록 씰런트를 드로잉하되, 상기 제1폭을 갖는 씰패턴이 상기 점착테이프의 적어도 일부와 중첩되도록 하면서 상기 제1폭을 갖는 씰패턴의 내측에 상기 커팅라인이 위치하도록 드로잉하는 단계;
부착된 상기 점착테이프 및 상기 점착테이프와 중첩되는 씰런트를 함께 제거하여 상기 제1폭 보다 작은 제2폭을 갖는 씰패턴을 형성하는 단계;
상기 제1기판과 상기 제2기판을 합착하여 합착패널을 형성하는 단계; 및,
상기 제2폭을 갖는 씰패턴을 경화시키는 단계;를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법. - 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 제2폭을 갖는 씰런트를 경화시키고 난 후, 상기 커팅라인을 따라 상기 합착패널을 절단하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법. - 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 제2폭을 갖는 씰패턴의 폭은 상기 점착테이프와 상기 제1폭을 갖는 씰패턴과의 중첩되는 정도에 따라 조절되도록 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법. - 제 1항에 있어서,
상기 점착테이프는 로봇 암을 이용하여 제거하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
