Claims (5)
- 화면의 가장자리가 타원과 원 중 어느 하나의 형상을 갖는 액정패널;상기 액정패널의 하부 일측에 배치되어 액정패널에 광을 공급하는 다수의 광원;상기 다수의 광원으로부터 방출되는 광을 상기 액정패널 방향으로 안내하며, 타원과 원 형상 중 어느 하나의 형상의 테두리를 양분한 두 영역 중 하나의 영역 일부를 따라 형성되어 상기 다수의 광원에서 방출되는 광이 입사되는 입광부를 포함하고, 상기 입광부는 각각이 상기 다수의 광원 중에서 적어도 하나와 대응되며 계단 형상으로 형성된 다수의 입광면을 구비하는 도광판을 포함하고,상기 다수의 입광면에 대응되는 상기 다수의 광원 각각의 광축은 서로 평행한 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 도광판은 타원 형상의 테두리를 가지며,상기 다수의 광원은 각각의 광축은 상기 타원 형상의 단축과 장축 중 선택된 어느 하나에 대하여 동시에 평행하도록 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 도광판은 타원 형상의 테두리를 가지며,상기 다수의 광원은 상기 타원 형상의 단축과 장축 중 선택된 어느 하나를 기준으로 하여 양 방향으로 대칭을 이루도록 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 도광판은 원 형상의 테두리를 가지며,상기 다수의 광원의 각각의 광축은 상기 원 형상의 하나의 지름에 대하여 동시에 평행하도록 배치된 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 다수의 입광면 각각은 상기 다수의 광원 각각의 광축과 수직을 이루는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시장치.
