Claims (14)
- 다공성 벽 유동 기재, 선택적인 촉매적 환원(SCR) 촉매, 팔라듐 성분 및 백금 성분을 포함하는 촉매화된 매연 필터로서, 이 때
상기 벽 유동 기재가 입구 말단, 출구 말단, 입구 말단과 출구 말단 사이에서 연장되는 기재 축 길이, 및 벽 유동 기재의 내벽에 의해 한정되는 복수개의 채널을 포함하고, 상기 복수개의 채널이 개방된 입구 말단 및 폐쇄된 출구 말단을 갖는 입구 채널, 및 폐쇄된 입구 말단 및 개방된 출구 말단을 갖는 출구 채널을 포함하고;
상기 SCR 촉매가, 입구 채널 벽의 전체 표면 및 SCR 촉매로 코팅된 채널 벽의 표면 아래의 채널 벽 내의 공극의 표면 중 적어도 일부 상에 제공되고;
상기 팔라듐 성분이 입구 채널 벽의 표면 중 일부 및 팔라듐 성분으로 코팅된 채널 벽 부분의 표면 아래의 채널 벽 내의 공극의 표면 중 적어도 일부 상에 제공되고;
상기 팔라듐 성분으로 코팅된 입구 채널 벽 부분이 입구 말단으로부터 기재 축 길이의 x%까지 연장되고, 여기서 x는 0 초과 내지 100 미만이고;
상기 백금 성분이 출구 채널 벽의 표면 중 일부 및 백금 성분으로 코팅된 채널 벽 부분의 표면 내의 채널 벽 내의 공극의 표면 중 적어도 일부 상에 제공되고;
상기 백금 성분으로 코팅된 출구 채널 벽 부분이 출구 말단으로부터 기재 축 길이의 100-x%까지 연장되는, 촉매화된 매연 필터. - 제1항에 있어서,
x가 5 내지 95인, 촉매화된 매연 필터. - 제1항에 있어서,
다공성 벽 유동 기재가, 벽 유동 기재의 각 벽이 개별적으로 입구 채널의 표면인 제 1 표면 및 출구 채널의 표면인 제 2 표면을 갖도록, 교대로 막힌 입구 말단과 출구 말단을 갖는 벌집형 기재인, 촉매화된 매연 필터. - 제1항에 있어서,
SCR 촉매가 하나 이상의 제올라이트를 포함하는, 촉매화된 매연 필터. - 제4항에 있어서,
하나 이상의 제올라이트가 하나 이상의 전이 금속을 함유하는, 촉매화된 매연 필터. - 제1항에 있어서,
SCR 촉매의 평균 입자 크기 D90이 기재의 벽의 평균 공극 크기의 25% 이하인, 촉매화된 매연 필터. - 제1항에 있어서,
촉매화된 매연 필터가, 촉매화된 매연 필터의 상류에 위치하는 내연 엔진을 추가로 포함하는 배기가스 처리 시스템 내에 함유되고, 상기 내연 엔진이 촉매화된 매연 필터와 유체 연통되는, 촉매화된 매연 필터. - 제7항에 있어서,
배기가스 처리 시스템이 촉매화된 매연 필터와 유체 연통되는 희박 NOx 트랩(LNT)을 추가로 포함하고, 상기 LNT가 촉매화된 매연 필터의 상류에 위치하는, 촉매화된 매연 필터. - (i) 입구 말단, 출구 말단, 입구 말단과 출구 말단 사이에서 연장되는 기재 축 길이 및 벽 유동 기재의 내벽에 의해 한정되는 복수개의 채널을 포함하는 다공성 벽 유동 기재를 제공하되, 상기 복수개의 채널이 개방된 입구 말단과 폐쇄된 출구 말단을 갖는 입구 채널, 및 폐쇄된 입구 말단과 개방된 출구 말단을 갖는 출구 채널을 포함하는, 단계;
(ii) 미립자 지지 물질을 증류수와 혼합한 다음, 팔라듐 화합물의 수용액을 그에 첨가하고, 이 때 팔라듐 성분을 함유하는 제 1 슬러리를 제공하기 위하여 생성된 혼합물을 임의적으로 밀링하되, 상기 제 1 슬러리는 다공성 벽 유동 기재의 벽의 평균 공극 크기의 25% 이하인 평균 입자 크기 D90을 나타내는, 단계;
(iii) 미립자 지지 물질을 증류수와 혼합한 다음, 백금 화합물의 수용액을 그에 첨가하고, 이 때 백금 성분을 함유하는 제 2 슬러리를 제공하기 위하여 생성된 혼합물을 임의적으로 밀링하되, 상기 제 2 슬러리는 다공성 벽 유동 기재의 벽의 평균 공극 크기의 25% 이하인 평균 입자 크기 D90을 나타내는, 단계;
(iv) 고체 SCR 촉매를 증류수에 현탁시키고, 제 3 슬러리를 제공하기 위하여 생성된 혼합물을 임의적으로 밀링하되, 상기 제 3 슬러리는 다공성 벽 유동 기재의 벽의 평균 공극 크기의 25% 이하인 평균 입자 크기 D90을 나타내는, 단계;
(v) 벽 유동 기재의 입구 말단을 입구 말단으로부터 연장되는 기재 축 길이의 x%까지 제 1 슬러리 내로 침지함으로써, 벽 유동 기재의 입구 채널 벽의 일부를 코팅하되, x가 0 초과 내지 100 미만인, 단계;
(vi) 벽 유동 기재를 제 1 슬러리로부터 제거하고, 입구 채널로부터 과량의 제 1 슬러리를 제거하는 단계;
(vii) 벽 유동 기재의 출구 말단을 출구 말단으로부터 연장되는 기재 축 길이의 100-x%까지 제 2 슬러리 내로 침지함으로써, 벽 유동 기재의 출구 채널 벽의 일부를 코팅하는 단계;
(viii) 제 2 슬러리로부터 벽 유동 기재를 제거하고, 출구 채널로부터 과량의 제 2 슬러리를 제거하는 단계;
(ix) 제 3 슬러리가 벽 유동 기재의 출구 말단의 표면과 접촉하지 않도록 하면서, 벽 유동 기재의 입구 말단을 기재의 전체 축 길이를 따라 제 3 슬러리 내로 침지시킴으로써, 벽 유동 기재의 입구 채널 벽을 코팅하는 단계;
(x) 벽 유동 기재를 제 3 슬러리로부터 제거하고, 입구 채널로부터 과량의 제 3 슬러리를 제거하는 단계; 및
(xi) 임의적으로는 코팅된 벽 유동 기재를 건조, 하소, 또는 건조 및 하소하는 단계
를 포함하는, 촉매화된 매연 필터의 제조 방법. - 제9항에 따른 방법에 따라 수득되는, 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 촉매화된 매연 필터.
- 내연 엔진으로부터의 배기 가스를, 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 촉매화된 매연 필터의 입구 채널을 통해 유도함을 포함하는, 내연 엔진으로부터의 배기 가스를 처리하는 방법.
- 제11항에 있어서,
배기가스 스트림을 촉매화된 매연 필터 내로 유도하기 전에, 배기가스 스트림을 디젤 산화 촉매(DOC)와 접촉시키는, 방법. - 제12항에 있어서,
배기가스 스트림을 촉매화된 매연 필터 내로 유도하기 전에, 배기가스 스트림을 희박 NOx 트랩(LNT)과 접촉시키는, 방법.
