Abstract

The present invention relates to a multipurpose chair, and aims to enable the chair to be used for various purposes such as a chair, desk, stand, and exercise equipment.
A multipurpose chair according to the present invention comprises: a main body including a mounting portion, an additional mounting portion bent at one side of the mounting portion, and a support bent at the other side of the mounting portion; and a support portion selectively mounted on one of the upper surfaces of the mounting portion and the additional mounting portion and supporting a body part of a user or an object to be mounted.

Description

Multipurpose Chair {SYSTEM FOR PACKAGING}

The present invention relates to a multipurpose chair, and more specifically, to a multipurpose chair that can be used for various purposes such as a chair, desk, stand, and exercise equipment.

In general, a chair is something that a person can sit on, and it is used to sit comfortably and relax indoors, such as at home or in an office, and it is equipped with a seating area, a support to support the seating area, a seat, a backrest, and armrests.

And, unlike Korea, where a sedentary culture of sitting on the floor has developed, some other cultures, such as the West and China, have mainly used chairs to live their lives, so various types of chairs have been created according to the lifestyles of each era.

Even today, chairs with various purposes and functions are provided, including sofa-type chairs with various cushions added to emphasize comfort, table chairs, folding chairs, and stools with simple structures that emphasize only the sitting function and have no backrests or other structures, etc., fall into this category of chairs.

However, conventional chairs have a problem in that they can only be used as chairs to simply sit on because their shape and structure are fixed.

Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop products that can be selectively used for various purposes such as chairs, desks, and exercise equipment.

The present invention has been made to solve the problems of the above-mentioned prior art, and its purpose is to provide a multipurpose chair that can be used for various purposes such as a chair, desk, stand, and exercise equipment.

A multipurpose chair (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention may include at least one of a main body (10) and a support part (20).

As illustrated in Fig. 1, the main body (10) may include a mounting portion (11), an additional mounting portion (12) that is bent in a right-angled direction on one side of the mounting portion (11), and a support (13) that is bent in a right-angled direction on the other side of the mounting portion (11).

The drawing shows an example in which the fixing portion (11), the additional fixing portion (12), and the support (13) are formed in a circular rod shape with a constant length and diameter. However, in the multipurpose chair (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention, the shapes of the fixing portion (11), the additional fixing portion (12), and the support (13) may be formed in various shapes such as a polygonal shape, a semicircular shape, a sine wave shape, etc.

The above-described anchoring portion (11), additional anchoring portion (12), and support (13) are each configured as a pair of two and can be arranged parallel to each other.

Additionally, a pair of additional anchoring parts (12) can be connected to each other through a single connecting member (14).

At this time, the connecting member (14) can be formed to have the same shape as the anchoring member (11), the additional anchoring member (12), and the support (13).

By maintaining the gap between the additional fixing parts (12) due to the connecting member (14), the additional fixing parts (12) can be prevented from being bent by external force.

At this time, when removing the support member (20) from the fixing member (11), it is possible to perform an exercise such as a push-up while holding the fixing member (11) with both hands.

The support member (20) is mounted on the upper surface of the mounting member (11) as shown in Fig. 1, or is selectively mounted on the upper surface of the additional mounting member (12) to support a body part of the user or an object to be mounted.

Additionally, the support member (20) may be secured on one side of one support (13) and one side of the additional fixing member (12) respectively, or may be secured on the upper surface of a pair of supports (13).

At this time, a receiving plate (21) is formed on the lower surface of the support member (20) to be received in the space between the anchoring members (11), the additional anchoring members (12), or the support members (13).

The support member (20) secured to the mounting member (11), the additional mounting member (12), or the support (13) can be prevented from moving in the left and right directions due to the receiving plate (21).

When the support member (20) is secured to the fixing member (11) or the additional fixing member (12) or the support (13), it is possible to use it as a chair by sitting on the support member (20), or to use a laptop or tablet PC while sitting or lying down on a sofa, or to put one's legs or feet on it while sitting on a sofa, or to place it next to a general work desk or study desk to store various work items, workbooks, or textbooks, or to use it as a floor desk while sitting on the floor.

In addition, if you want to use a laptop or tablet PC while standing due to back discomfort or other various reasons, you can place the main body (10) on a table or desk to a certain height and then place the laptop or tablet PC on the support (20) to use it.

When the main body (10) is placed on a table or desk and a laptop or tablet PC is placed on the support (20), the user can use it without having to bend over, thereby improving convenience of use.

Additionally, the anchoring portion (11), the additional anchoring portion (12), the support (13) and the connecting member (14) can be formed to have the same or different lengths.

For example, the additional anchoring portion (12) and the support (13) may be formed to have the same length, the anchoring portion (11) may be formed to have a longer or shorter length than the additional anchoring portion (12) and the support (13), and the connecting member (14) may be formed to have a longer or shorter length than the anchoring portion (11), the additional anchoring portion (12) and the support (13).

The drawing shows an example in which the length of the anchoring portion (11) is formed longer than the length of the additional anchoring portion (12) and the support (13). Next, the first attachment part (30), the extension part (40), and the second attachment part (50) applied to the multipurpose chair (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 5 to 7.

The first attachment part (30) is installed on the front, rear, left side, and right side of the support part (20), respectively.

The first attachment part (30) is formed of metal or a magnetic material so that the second attachment part (50) described later is magnetically attached.

The extensions (40) are composed of a pair of two, and are placed respectively on the front and rear sides of the support (20) or on the left and right sides, respectively, under user control.

The extension (40) may include an extension plate (41) positioned horizontally with the support (20) and at least one additional support (42) formed on the lower surface of the extension plate (41).

A wheel (423) that moves along the floor is installed on the bottom of the additional support (42).

The extension part (40) can be easily moved using the wheel (423).

In addition, it is possible to place the main body (10) or other various objects on the upper surface of the expansion plate (41) and move them easily.

The additional support (42) is formed as a height-adjustable type so that the height of the extension plate (41) can be adjusted to correspond to the user's height.

The additional support (42) may include a first support member (421) and a second support member (422).

The first support member (421) has an open upper surface, a hollow space formed inside, and a bottom wheel (423) installed therein.

The second support member (422) can be raised and lowered while a certain area is accommodated in the empty space of the first support member (421).

A first insertion hole penetrating horizontally is formed in the first support member (421).

Additionally, a plurality of second insertion holes are formed at regular intervals horizontally along the length of the second support member (422).

Accordingly, the first insertion hole and one of the second insertion holes are positioned on a horizontal line, and then a fixing pin or bolt is jointly inserted into the first insertion hole and the second insertion hole to adjust the height of the second support member (422) and the extension plate (41).

Next, examples of use of the first attachment part (30), the extension part (40), and the second attachment part (50) described above will be described.

First, when it is desired to expand the support (20), an expansion part (40) is positioned on at least one of the front, rear, left side, and right side of the support (20), and then a second attachment part (50) is attached to the first attachment part (30) and fixed.

Accordingly, it is possible for several people to sit on the support (20) and the extension (41) and use them as chairs, or for several people to use them as desks.

And, by separating the extensions (40) from the support (20), it is possible for several people to use it as a chair while being separated from each other, or as a desk.

Meanwhile, if the main body (10) needs to be moved to another location as needed, the extension parts (40) can be connected via the second attachment part (50), and then the main body (10) can be secured on the upper surface of the extension plates (41) and then moved.

Furthermore, it is also possible to place various items such as books and bags on the top surface of the expansion plates (41) and then transport them.
