Abstract

CAKE PACKAGING VESSEL

This relates to a cake packaging container that ensures distribution safety and quality safety and is excellent in eco-friendliness and economy.

Cakes are commonly used for anniversaries and events. These cakes are delivered in cake packaging containers. Recently, as the spread of infectious diseases such as COVID-19 has become prolonged, the work-from-home and non-face-to-face culture has naturally spread and become established, so bakery products such as cakes are also rapidly increasing in online delivery sales, and the launch of online-only cake products is also increasing significantly. However, most cake packaging containers are simply covering the cake with a plastic case and putting it in a paper box.

Plastic is fragile in a frozen environment due to its nature, and there is no clearance between the height of the plastic container and the outer box that makes up the cake packaging container, so there are many cases where a direct impact occurs to the container during distribution of the packaged cake, causing the plastic case covering the cake to break, resulting in pieces of plastic falling on the cake during delivery.

In particular, as the number of online cake delivery incidents has increased rapidly due to COVID-19, there are more manufacturers than expected who are receiving complaints from consumers who got hurt while eating cakes without knowing that plastic pieces were actually inserted inside the cakes. These accidents can easily lead to serious injuries, so we cannot just ignore this problem.

And, even if infectious diseases such as COVID-19 disappear, interest in small-scale and large-scale cake delivery technology is expected to steadily increase due to the already expanded online delivery market with the already widespread non-face-to-face culture.

However, when commonly used hexagonal paper cake packaging boxes are used as cake packaging containers, it is easy to stack the paper cake packaging boxes in multiple tiers, but there is a risk that the cake packaging box located at the bottom may not be able to withstand the load and may be pressed or crushed, and in this case, there is a risk that the plastic covering the cake inside may also be pressed and damaged (broken). Even if it does not break, there is a high risk that the shape of the cake may be deformed, and if the plastic cover, etc. is not used, it becomes even more difficult to expect the shape of the cake to be preserved.

In addition, since the cake packaging box is bound to shake due to the shaking of the vehicle during transportation and delivery, it is never easy to deliver the cake inside the cake packaging box to the consumer while preserving its shape intact.

One embodiment of the invention is a cake packaging container, which can ensure excellent quality stability even when stacked in multiple tiers or shaken, and furthermore, can increase the marketability of a cake with just the cake packaging container, and provides a cake packaging container that allows consumers to easily put cakes in and take them out of the packaging container without damaging the cake.

According to one embodiment, a cake packaging container is provided, which includes an outer box (1) capable of accommodating a cake, an inner box (2), and a cake fixing member (3), wherein the cake fixing member surrounds an outer surface of the cake, the inner box includes a first surface (22), a second surface (21) opposite to the first surface, and a side surface (23) respectively connected to the first surface and the second surface, and the second surface includes a cake fixing member attaching/detaching portion (24), wherein the cake fixing member attaching/detaching portion is open, and the cake fixing member attaching/detaching portion is capable of being coupled to and detached from an upper portion of the cake fixing member, so that both coupling and detachment between the inner box and the cake fixing member are possible.

The height of the above cake fixture may be higher than the height of the cake accommodated in the above outer box.

The height of the above cake fixture may be equal to or lower than the height of the outer box.

The side height of the above inner wall may be lower than the height of the cake fixture.

Due to the structure of the cake packaging container according to the embodiment, the auxiliary materials are simplified, so there is no need to develop customized packaging containers for each size or shape of the cake, and since the front page of the inner magazine can contain an introduction of the brand, storytelling about the product, or recipes, the marketability of the product can be greatly enhanced with just the cake packaging container.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, a cake packaging container can minimize external deformation by reinforcing the structural rigidity of the container itself even when stacked in multiple layers or subjected to severe shaking during transport, thereby enabling stable delivery of cakes.

According to one embodiment, a cake packaging container can be composed entirely of paper without using plastic, in which case accidents involving plastic in cakes (foreign substance claims due to plastic container breakage) can be prevented in advance, and this complies with recent laws and regulations on plastic use, and is also environmentally friendly.

Hereinafter, implementation examples will be described in detail so that those with ordinary knowledge in the art can easily implement the present invention. However, the present invention may be implemented in various different forms and is not limited to the implementation examples described herein.

In order to clearly express various layers and regions in the drawings, the thickness is enlarged and shown. Similar parts are designated by the same drawing reference numerals throughout the specification. When a part such as a layer, film, region, or plate is said to be "on" another part, this includes not only the case where it is "directly on" the other part, but also the case where there is another part in between. Conversely, when a part is said to be "directly on" another part, it means that there is no other part in between.

According to one embodiment, a cake packaging container includes an outer box (1) capable of accommodating a cake, an inner box (2), and a cake fixing member (3), wherein the cake fixing member surrounds an outer surface of the cake, the inner box includes a first surface (22), a second surface (21) opposite to the first surface, and a side surface (23) respectively connected to the first surface and the second surface, and the second surface includes a cake fixing member attachment/detachment portion (24), the cake fixing member attachment/detachment portion is open, and the cake fixing member attachment/detachment portion is capable of being coupled to and detached from an upper portion of the cake fixing member, so that both coupling and detachment between the inner box and the cake fixing member are possible.

In the past, since there was no such inner liner at all, quality and safety issues inevitably occurred during transportation of the cake, and even if the cake was transported while being preserved in its original form, it was very difficult to separate the cake from the cake packaging container without damaging its shape. In addition, instead of the inner liner, the cake was sometimes transported by covering it with a plastic container, but considering the characteristic of the cake being placed in a refrigerated/frozen state when transporting it, there was a problem that the plastic could easily break.

However, the cake packaging container according to one embodiment can solve all of the above-mentioned problems because of the structure as described above, and provides a very innovative cake packaging container that not only ensures packaging quality and safety (foreign substance claims due to breakage during delivery of a plastic container that is prone to breakage in a refrigerated/frozen environment, damage to the shape of the cake due to crushing of the outer box, etc.), but also is environmentally friendly (no plastic required), productive/economical (simplification of auxiliary materials and no need to develop containers according to product specifications), marketability (brand storytelling, etc. are possible on the inner paper), and convenience (easy to put in and take out the cake without damaging the shape of the cake).

In addition, since the inner paper constituting the cake packaging container according to one embodiment has a first side facing a second side including a cake fixing attachment/detachment portion, the cake surrounded by the cake fixing attachment can be more completely blocked from the outside, the cake can be wrapped more firmly to protect the cake from shaking, etc., and, as described below, the marketability can be improved through the first side.

For example, the height of the cake fixture may be higher than the height of the cake accommodated in the outer box. In this case, when the inner paper is combined with the upper part of the cake fixture through the cake fixture detachable portion, the shape of the cake can be prevented from being damaged by the inner paper.

For example, the height of the cake fixture may be equal to or lower than the height of the outer box. If the height of the cake fixture is higher than the height of the outer box, when the cake packaging box is closed, the shape of the cake inside may be significantly damaged due to the upper part of the cake fixture and the inner paper combined with the upper part of the cake fixture being bent or deformed.

For example, the side height of the inner sheet may be the same as or lower than the height of the cake holder. If the side height of the inner sheet is higher than the height of the cake holder, when the cake packaging box is closed, the shape of the cake inside may be significantly damaged due to the upper part of the cake holder and the inner sheet being bent or deformed due to the height of the inner sheet, and the second surface constituting the inner sheet may be positioned on the bottom surface (bottom surface) of the outer box or the cake stand described below, so that the inner sheet may not properly perform its role of holding the cake holder surrounding the cake.

For example, one of the sides forming the bottom surface of the outer box is connected to the first opening/closing portion (11), and both ends of the first opening/closing portion can be inserted (possibly) into both sides of the side surface of the outer box. Furthermore, one of the sides forming the side surface of the outer box, for example, including the other side forming the bottom surface and facing the one side connected to the first opening/closing portion, is connected to the lid portion, and the lid portion (15) includes the lid portion (13), an inner portion (14) positioned on both sides of the lid portion, and a second opening/closing portion (12), and both ends of the second opening/closing portion can be inserted (possibly) into both sides of the side surface of the outer box. For example, when using an inner sheet without the first side as in Fig. 6, it is difficult to prevent damage to the cake due to shaking because the cake fixture cannot be firmly held, and the inner sheet may move up and down the cake fixture during transport, damaging the cake fixture or deforming its shape, which may indirectly have a great impact on damage to the shape of the cake inside the cake fixture. In addition, when there is no first side, the durability of the inner sheet itself is greatly reduced, and it may tear easily, resulting in a situation that is worse than when there is no inner sheet.

For example, the area of the first side may be smaller than the area of the bottom surface of the outer box. If the area of the first side is equal to or larger than the area of the bottom surface of the outer box, it may be difficult for the inner paper to be firmly attached to the upper portion of the cake fixture.

For example, one of the sides constituting the side surface, for example, one side connected to the first opening and closing portion and the other side forming the bottom, facing the side constituting the outer box, is connected to the lid portion, and the lid portion includes the lid portion, an inner portion positioned on both sides of the lid portion, and a second opening and closing portion, and the area of the first surface may be equal to or smaller than the area of the lid portion. The above cake stand has a flat upper surface and can support the load of the cake. The above cake stand can have various shapes such as polygons such as triangles, squares, hexagons, circles, ovals, etc.

The cake stand may have a relatively smooth, for example somewhat slippery, surface so that the bottom surface of the cake placed on it does not remain. For example, the cake stand may have a coating layer formed on at least the upper surface thereof made of a material with low adhesion to the cake so as to prevent the bottom surface of the cake from remaining.

As the above cake stand, any known cake stand can be used.

The above fixed plate is positioned on the upper surface of the cake stand, and may have a higher coefficient of friction than the upper surface of the cake stand. Since the fixed plate has a high coefficient of friction compared to the relatively smooth and somewhat slippery surface of the cake stand, the cake can be fixed so that it does not slip during delivery and can be maintained in position.

The above fixing plate is positioned so as to cover the upper surface of the cake stand, but the area of the fixing plate may be smaller than the area of the upper surface of the cake stand. Accordingly, cake remaining on the cake stand can be reduced compared to covering the entire upper surface of the cake stand with the fixing plate.

The above fixed plate may include a predetermined opening pattern (51). By utilizing the above opening pattern, the cake position fixing function of the fixed plate can be realized while reducing the contact area between the fixed plate and the lower part of the cake, thereby further reducing the cake remaining on the cake stand.

The shape, quantity, etc. of the above opening pattern may vary depending on the specific shape of the above fixed plate. For example, the above fixed plate may be formed in a star shape, and the above opening pattern may also be formed in a star shape smaller than the above fixed plate.

Alternatively, the fixed plate may be formed in an octagonal shape with wavy edges, and the opening pattern may be formed in various shapes such as a square, a small circle, or a large circle.

The specific shape of the above fixed plate, the shape of the opening pattern, the quantity, etc. are not particularly limited as long as the fixed plate can perform the function of fixing the cake position, and can be designed in various ways according to the taste or aesthetics of the purchaser, for example.
