Description
Claims (10)
- 감광성 도파관상에 완전한 격자 구조를 형성하는 방법에 있어서,(a) 상기 도파관상에 상기 격자 구조의 시작부를 기록하는 단계;(b) 상기 시작부의 일련의 파라미터를 결정하기 위해 상기 시작부의 특성을 테스트하는 단계;(c) 개선된 형태의 격자 구조를 제공하기 위해 상기 파라미터를 이용하여 상기 격자 구조의 추후 기록부의 특성을 바꾸는 단계;(d) 상기 완전한 격자 구조를 형성하기 위해 상기 단계 (a) 내지 (c)를 반복하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 기록 단계는 상기 도파관상의 2개의 코히어런트 빔의 간섭으로 인해 형성된 코히어런트 패턴을 이용하여 수행되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 특성은 상기 추후 기록부의 강도 또는 위상을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1항 내지 제 3항 중 어느 한항에 있어서,상기 테스트 단계는 상기 시작부 또는 추후 기록부의 스펙트럼 반사 응답 또는 그 일부를 결정하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1항 내지 제 4항 중 어느 한항에 있어서,상기 테스트 단계는 상기 시작부 또는 추후 기록부의 스펙트럼 투과 응답 또는 그 일부를 결정하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1항 내지 제 5항 중 어느 한항에 있어서,상기 특성은 상기 시작부 또는 추후 기록부의 위상 지연 스펙트럼 응답 또는 그 일부를 결정하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1항 내지 제 6항 중 어느 한항에 있어서,상기 단계 (a)는 격자 구조의 강도, 위상 또는 주파수를 국부적으로 섭동시키는 단계를 더 포함하며 상기 단계 (b)는 상기 국부적 섭동을 측정하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 7항에 있어서,상기 국부적 섭동은 주기적 변조를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 1항 내지 제 8항 중 어느 한항에 있어서,상기 테스트 단계는 상기 시작부 또는 추후 기록부의 반사, 투과 또는 그룹 지연 스펙트럼 부분을 평균내는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 테스트 단계는 상기 변조를 위한 주파수의 합 또는 차를 측정하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
