Abstract

PURPOSE: A safe trampoline using leaf springs is provided to give uniform elasticity and restoring force to a mat, which resultantly enables a user to jump higher and more safely. CONSTITUTION: The trampoline using leaf springs includes a double structure, namely an inner jumping mat and an outer safe mat, dually deflected leaf springs installed around the mats, and pipes for forming a square shaped frame for the trampoline. The leaf spring has three bent parts to enable the leaf spring to receive a force from the front and back sides. Therefore, the restoring force and the repulsive force of the spring are very high, which in turn allows the user to jump higher and more safely.
