- 제1 항에 있어서,제어 유닛(146)은 메인 지문이 기준 지문과 매치하지 않는 경우 메인 스트림으로부터 콘텐트 요소를 선택하며 제어 유닛(146)은 콘텐트 요소의 렌더링이 스킵되게 하는, 오디오 및/또는 비디오 데이터 스트림으로부터 콘텐트를 선택하는 장치.
- 제2 항에 있어서,비교기 유닛(144)은 메인 지문이 기준 지문과 한 번을 초과해서 매치하는지를 검출하도록 배열되고, 제어 유닛(146)은 대응 콘텐트 요소 중 최대 하나가 이 검출에 응답해서 렌더링되게 하도록 배열되는, 오디오 및/또는 비디오 데이터 스트림으로부터 콘텐트를 선택하는 장치.
- 제1 항에 있어서,수신시에 메인 스트림을 저장하는 저장 디바이스(142)를 포함하며, 제어 유닛(146)은 메인 지문이 저장 디바이스(142)로부터 선택식 검색에 대해 기준 지문과 매치하는 콘텐트 요소를 선택하도록 배열되는, 오디오 및/또는 비디오 데이터 스트림으로부터 콘텐트를 선택하는 장치.
- 제1 항에 있어서,수신시에 메인 스트림뿐만 아니라, 마크업 정보를 저장하는 저장 디바이스(142)를 포함하며, 비교기 유닛(144)은 메인 지문이 기준 지문 내의 링크 포인트와 매치하는 곳을 나타내는 링크 정보가 저장되게 하도록 배열되는, 오디오 및/또는 비디오 데이터 스트림으로부터 콘텐트를 선택하는 장치.
- 제1 항에 있어서,메인 지문이 기준 지문과 매치하지 않을 때는 추가적인 스트림의 렌더링으로 전환하고 메인 지문이 기준 지문과 매치할 때는 메인 스트림의 렌더링으로 다시 전 환하도록 배열되는, 채널 선택 유닛(56)을 포함하는, 오디오 및/또는 비디오 데이터 스트림으로부터 콘텐트를 선택하는 장치.
- 제1 항에 있어서,메인 스트림을 수신하는 입력부(140)와 기준 지문을 수신하는 입력부(141)는 상호 상이한 분배 매체로부터 기준 지문 및 메인 스트림을 수신하도록 배열되는, 오디오 및/또는 비디오 데이터 스트림으로부터 콘텐트를 선택하는 장치.
- 제1 항에 있어서,메인 스트림을 수신하는 입력부(140)는 방송 채널을 통해 메인 스트림을 수신하도록 배열되는, 오디오 및/또는 비디오 데이터 스트림으로부터 콘텐트를 선택하는 장치.
- 제8 항에 있어서,수신시에 메인 스트림을 레코딩하는 저장 디바이스(142)를 포함하며, 메인 지문이 기준 지문과 매치하지 않는 콘텐트 항목이 저장 디바이스(142) 내에 보유하기 위해 버려지는, 오디오 및/또는 비디오 데이터 스트림으로부터 콘텐트를 선택하는 장치.

- 오디오 및/또는 비디오 데이터 스트림으로부터 콘텐트를 선택하는 방법으로서,- 비디오 및/또는 오디오 정보에 대한 연속적인 콘텐트 요소(22a-g)를 포함하는 메인 스트림을 수신하는 단계;- 연속적인 콘텐트 요소(22a-g)에 대해 메인 지문을 계산하는 단계;- 메인 지문을 기준 지문과 비교하는 단계; 및- 메인 지문이 기준 지문과 매치하는 메인 스트림으로부터 모든 콘텐트 요소를 선택하거나 메인 지문이 기준 지문과 매치하지 않는 메인 스트림으로부터 모든 콘텐트 요소를 선택하는 단계를 포함하는, 오디오 및/또는 비디오 데이터 스트림으로부터 콘텐트를 선택하는 방법.
