Abstract
본 발명은 하기 화학식 1로 표시되는 분자 내 이종 코어(A-B) 구조를 포함하는 유기발광 소자용 화합물을 제공하며, 발광효율이 우수한 발광재료가 이중 코어(double core) 형태의 결합된 구조로서, 평면구조의 방향족 환의 두 코어(A-B)가 뒤틀린 각도로 결합된 구조적 특징에 의해, 높은 발광효율 및 용해도 향상으로 인해 용액공정에서도 높은 안정성과 높은 소자 수명을 기대할 수 있다. 나아가, 본 발명의 유기발광 소자용 화합물을 발광층으로 채용함으로써, 종래 단일 코어로 이루어진 화합물을 채용한 경우보다 높은 발광효율 및 긴 소자 수명을 구현한다.

Claims (9)
- 하기 화학식 1로 표시되는 분자 내 이종 코어(A-B) 구조를 포함하는 유기발광 소자용 화합물:

Ar1-(A-B)-Ar2
상기에서, A 또는 B는 치환 또는 비치환된 다환계 방향족 환이며, 각각 동일하거나 동일하지 않을 수 있으며, Ar1 또는 Ar2는 각각 동일하거나 동일하지 않을 수 있으며, 탄소수6 내지 25의 치환 또는 비치환된 아릴, 탄소수 5 내지 25의 치환 또는 비치환된 헤테로아릴, 나프틸, 피리딘, 바이피리딘, 및 트라이아진으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 어느 하나이고, 상기에서 치환기는 수소원자, 탄소수 1∼12의 선형, 가지형 또는 고리형 알킬기 또는 알콕시기, 또는 탄소수 6∼14의 방향족기이다. - 제1항에 있어서, 상기 이종 코어(A-B)가 나프탈렌, 안트라센, 파이렌, 페난트렌, 트리페닐렌, 페릴렌, 펜타센, 크리센 및 플루오렌으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 어느 하나가 각각 A 또는 B에 동일하거나 독립적으로 치환되어 결합된 것을 특징으로 하는 상기 유기발광소자용 화합물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 Ar1 또는 Ar2는 각각 동일하거나 동일하지 않을 수 있으며, 페닐, 바이페닐, 트라이페닐, 나프틸, 피리딘, 바이피리딘, 트라이아진 및 플루오렌으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 상기 유기발광 소자용 화합물.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 유기발광 소자용 화합물이 평면구조의 두 코어가 뒤틀린 각도(torsion angle)로 결합된 구조적에 의해 용액 공정에 적용 가능한 수준의 용해도를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 상기 유기발광 소자용 화합물.
- 기판, 애노드, 정공 주입층, 정공 수송층, 발광층, 전자 수송층, 전자 주입층, 및 캐소드를 포함하여 이루어진 유기발광 소자에 있어서,
상기 발광층이 하기 화학식 1로 표시되는 분자 내 이종 코어(A-B) 구조를 포함하는 화합물으로 이루어진 것을 특징으로 하는 유기발광 소자:

상기에서, A, B, Ar1 및 Ar2는 제1항에서 정의한 바와 같다. - 제7항에 있어서, 상기 이종 코어(A-B)가 나프탈렌, 안트라센, 파이렌, 페난트렌, 트리페닐렌, 페릴렌, 펜타센, 크리센 및 플루오렌으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 어느 하나가 각각 A 또는 B에 동일하거나 독립적으로 치환되어 결합된 것을 특징으로 하는 상기 유기발광 소자.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 Ar1 또는 Ar2는 각각 동일하거나 동일하지 않을 수 있으며, 페닐, 바이페닐, 트라이페닐, 나프틸, 피리딘, 바이피리딘, 트라이아진 및 플루오렌으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 것을 특징으로 하는 상기 유기발광 소자.
