Claims (57)
- 적어도 A 원소와 D 원소와 X 원소 (단, A 는 Li, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba 에서 선택되는 1 종 또는 2 종 이상의 원소, D 는 Si, Ge, Sn, Ti, Zr, Hf 에서 선택되는 1 종 또는 2 종 이상의 원소, X 는 O, N, F 에서 선택되는 1 종 또는 2 종 이상의 원소) 를 함유하고, 필요에 따라 E 원소 (단, E 는 B, Al, Ga, In, Sc, Y, La 에서 선택되는 1 종 또는 2 종 이상의 원소) 를 함유하는, Sr3Si8O4N10 으로 나타내는 결정, 혹은 Sr3Si8O4N10 으로 나타내는 결정과 동일한 결정 구조를 갖는 무기 결정에 M 원소 (단, M 은 Mn, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Tb, Dy, Yb 에서 선택되는 1 종 또는 2 종 이상의 원소) 가 고용된 무기 화합물을 함유하는, 형광체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 Sr3Si8O4N10 으로 나타내는 결정과 동일한 결정 구조를 갖는 무기 결정은, 그 조성이 A3(D,E)8X14 로 나타내는 결정이고,
상기 A3(D,E)8X14 로 나타내는 결정은, 적어도 A 원소에 Sr 또는 Ca 를 함유하고, D 원소에 Si 를 함유하고, 필요에 따라 E 원소에 Al 을 함유하고, X 원소에 N 을 함유하고, 필요에 따라 X 원소에 O 를 함유하는, 형광체. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 Sr3Si8O4N10 으로 나타내는 결정과 동일한 결정 구조를 갖는 무기 결정이, Sr3Si8O4N10, Ca3Si8O4N10, 또는 (Sr,Li)3Si8O4N10 인, 형광체. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 Sr3Si8O4N10 으로 나타내는 결정과 동일한 결정 구조를 갖는 무기 결정이,
Sr3Si8 - xAlxN10 - xO4 +x, Ca3Si8 - xAlxN10 - xO4 +x, 또는 (Sr,Li)3Si8 - xAlxN10 - xO4 +x (단, 0 ≤ x < 8) 의 조성식으로 나타내는, 형광체. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 M 원소가 Eu 인, 형광체. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 Sr3Si8O4N10 으로 나타내는 결정과 동일한 결정 구조를 갖는 무기 결정이, 단사정계의 결정인, 형광체. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 Sr3Si8O4N10 으로 나타내는 결정과 동일한 결정 구조를 갖는 무기 결정이, 단사정계의 결정이고, 공간군 P21/n 의 대칭성을 갖고,
격자 정수 (定數) a, b, c 가,
a = 0.48170 ± 0.05 ㎚
b = 2.42320 ± 0.05 ㎚
c = 1.05600 ± 0.05 ㎚
의 범위의 값인, 형광체. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 무기 화합물은, 조성식 MdAeDfEgXh (단, 식 중 d + e + f + g + h = 1 이고, M 은 Mn, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Tb, Dy, Yb 에서 선택되는 1 종 또는 2 종 이상의 원소, A 는 Li, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba 에서 선택되는 1 종 또는 2 종 이상의 원소, D 는 Si, Ge, Sn, Ti, Zr, Hf 에서 선택되는 1 종 또는 2 종 이상의 원소, E 는 B, Al, Ga, In, Sc, Y, La 에서 선택되는 1 종 또는 2 종 이상의 원소, X 는 O, N, F 에서 선택되는 1 종 또는 2 종 이상의 원소) 로 나타내고, 파라미터 d, e, f, g, h 가,

상기 무기 화합물에 추가하여, 상기 무기 화합물과는 상이한 다른 결정상 혹은 아모르퍼스상을 추가로 함유하고, 상기 무기 화합물의 함유량이 20 질량% 이상인, 형광체. - 제 17 항에 있어서,
상기 다른 결정상 혹은 아모르퍼스상이, 도전성을 갖는 무기 물질인, 형광체. - 제 18 항에 있어서,
상기 도전성을 갖는 무기 물질이, Zn, Al, Ga, In, Sn 에서 선택되는 1 종 또는 2 종 이상의 원소를 함유하는 산화물, 산질화물, 또는 질화물, 혹은 이들의 혼합물인, 형광체. - 제 17 항에 있어서,
상기 다른 결정상 혹은 아모르퍼스상이, 상기 무기 화합물과는 상이한 무기 형광체인, 형광체. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
여기원을 조사함으로써 560 ㎚ 이상 650 ㎚ 이하의 범위의 파장에 피크를 갖는 형광을 발광하는, 형광체. - 제 21 항에 있어서,
상기 여기원이 100 ㎚ 이상 450 ㎚ 이하의 파장을 갖는 진공 자외선, 자외선 또는 가시광, 전자선 또는 X 선인, 형광체. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 Sr3Si8O4N10 으로 나타내는 결정 및 상기 Sr3Si8O4N10 으로 나타내는 결정과 동일한 결정 구조를 갖는 무기 결정에 Eu 가 고용되어 이루어지고, 360 ㎚ 내지 450 ㎚ 의 광을 조사하면 560 ㎚ 이상 650 ㎚ 이하의 황색 내지 적색의 형광을 발하는, 형광체. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
여기원이 조사되었을 때에 발광하는 색이 CIE1931 색도 좌표 상의 (x0, y0) 의 값이고,
0.1 ≤ x0 ≤ 0.7
0.2 ≤ y0 ≤ 0.9
의 조건을 만족시키는, 형광체. - 금속 화합물의 혼합물로서 소성함으로써, 제 1 항에 기재된 무기 화합물을 구성할 수 있는 원료 혼합물을, 질소를 함유하는 불활성 분위기 중에 있어서 1200 ℃ 이상 2200 ℃ 이하의 온도 범위에서 소성하는 제 1 항에 기재된 형광체의 제조 방법.
- 제 25 항에 있어서,
상기 금속 화합물의 혼합물이, M 을 함유하는 화합물과, A 를 함유하는 화합물과, D 를 함유하는 화합물과, X 를 함유하는 화합물과, 필요에 따라 E 를 함유하는 화합물 (단, M 은 Mn, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Tb, Dy, Yb 에서 선택되는 1 종 또는 2 종 이상의 원소, A 는 Li, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba 에서 선택되는 1 종 또는 2 종 이상의 원소, D 는 Si, Ge, Sn, Ti, Zr, Hf 에서 선택되는 1 종 또는 2 종 이상의 원소, E 는 B, Al, Ga, In, Sc, Y, La 에서 선택되는 1 종 또는 2 종 이상의 원소, X 는 O, N, F 에서 선택되는 1 종 또는 2 종 이상의 원소) 로 이루어지는, 형광체의 제조 방법. - 제 26 항에 있어서,
상기 M 을 함유하는 화합물이, M 을 함유하는 금속, 규화물, 산화물, 탄산염, 질화물, 산질화물, 염화물, 불화물, 또는 산불화물에서 선택되는 단체 또는 2 종 이상의 혼합물이고,
상기 A 를 함유하는 화합물이, A 를 함유하는 금속, 규화물, 산화물, 탄산염, 질화물, 산질화물, 염화물, 불화물, 또는 산불화물에서 선택되는 단체 또는 2 종 이상의 혼합물이고,
상기 D 를 함유하는 화합물이, D 를 함유하는 금속, 규화물, 산화물, 탄산염, 질화물, 산질화물, 염화물, 불화물, 또는 산불화물에서 선택되는 단체 또는 2 종 이상의 혼합물인, 형광체의 제조 방법. - 제 25 항에 있어서,
상기 금속 화합물의 혼합물이, 적어도 유로퓸의 질화물 또는 산화물과, 스트론튬의 질화물 또는 산화물 또는 탄산염과, 산화규소 또는 질화규소를 함유하는, 형광체의 제조 방법. - 제 25 항에 있어서,
상기 질소를 함유하는 불활성 분위기가, 0.1 ㎫ 이상 100 ㎫ 이하의 압력 범위의 질소 가스 분위기인, 형광체의 제조 방법. - 제 25 항에 있어서,
소성로의 발열체, 단열체, 또는 시료 용기에 흑연을 사용하는, 형광체의 제조 방법. - 제 25 항에 있어서,
분체 또는 응집체 형상의 금속 화합물을 부피 밀도 40 % 이하의 충전율로 유지한 상태로 용기에 충전한 후에 소성하는, 형광체의 제조 방법. - 제 25 항에 있어서,
소성에 사용하는 용기가 질화붕소제인, 형광체의 제조 방법. - 제 25 항에 있어서,
금속 화합물의 분체 입자 또는 응집체의 평균 입경이 500 ㎛ 이하인, 형광체의 제조 방법. - 제 25 항에 있어서,
스프레이 드라이어, 체 분급 또는 풍력 분급에 의해, 금속 화합물의 응집체의 평균 입경을 500 ㎛ 이하로 제어하는, 형광체의 제조 방법. - 제 25 항에 있어서,
소결 수단이 핫 프레스에 의하지 않고, 오로지 상압 소결법 혹은 가스압 소결법에 의한 수단인, 형광체의 제조 방법. - 제 25 항에 있어서,
분쇄, 분급, 산 처리에서 선택되는 1 종 내지 복수의 수법에 의해, 소성에 의해 합성된 형광체 분말의 평균 입경을 50 ㎚ 이상 20 ㎛ 이하로 입도 조정하는, 형광체의 제조 방법. - 제 25 항에 있어서,
소성 후의 형광체 분말, 혹은 분쇄 처리 후의 형광체 분말, 혹은 입도 조정 후의 형광체 분말을, 1000 ℃ 이상이고 소성 온도 이하의 온도에서 열처리하는, 형광체의 제조 방법. - 제 25 항에 있어서,
상기 금속 화합물의 혼합물에 소성 온도 이하의 온도에서 액상을 생성하는 무기 화합물을 첨가하여 소성하는, 형광체의 제조 방법. - 제 38 항에 있어서,
상기 소성 온도 이하의 온도에서 액상을 생성하는 무기 화합물이, Li, Na, K, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba 에서 선택되는 1 종 또는 2 종 이상의 원소의 불화물, 염화물, 요오드화물, 브롬화물, 혹은 인산염의 1 종 또는 2 종 이상의 혼합물인, 형광체의 제조 방법. - 제 38 항에 있어서,
소성 후에 용제로 세정함으로써, 소성 온도 이하의 온도에서 액상을 생성하는 무기 화합물의 함유량을 저감시키는, 형광체의 제조 방법. - 적어도 발광체와 형광체 (제 1 형광체) 로 구성되는 발광 장치에 있어서,
적어도 제 1 항에 기재된 형광체를 상기 형광체 (제 1 형광체) 로서 사용하는, 발광 장치. - 제 41 항에 있어서,
상기 발광체가, 330 ∼ 500 ㎚ 의 파장의 광을 발하는 발광 다이오드 (LED), 레이저 다이오드 (LD), 반도체 레이저, 또는 유기 EL 발광체 (OLED) 인, 발광 장치. - 제 41 항에 있어서,
