Claims (20)
- 컴퓨터 구현 방법으로서,
프로세스를 실행하는 가상 기계 인스턴스들의 클러스터를 생성하기 위해 하나 이상의 애플리케이션 프로그래밍 인터페이스(application programming interface: API) 호출들을 컴퓨팅 리소스 서비스 제공자의 고객으로부터 수신하는 단계; 및
상기 하나 이상의 API 호출들에 응답하여,
복수의 가상 기계 인스턴스들을 인스턴스화(instantiating)하는 단계;
상기 복수의 가상 기계 인스턴스들을 클러스터 식별자와 연관짓는(associating) 단계; 및
상기 복수의 가상 기계 인스턴스들의 각각의 가상 기계 인스턴스에 대하여:
상기 가상 기계 인스턴스로 소프트웨어 컨테이너를 개시시키는(launching) 단계; 및
상기 소프트웨어 컨테이너 내에서 상기 프로세스의 적어도 일부를 실행시키는 단계를 포함하는, 컴퓨터 구현 방법. - 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 소프트웨어 컨테이너는 상기 가상 기계 인스턴스에서 실행되는 다른 소프트웨어 컨테이너로부터 격리되어 실행되는 사용자 공간 인스턴스인, 컴퓨터 구현 방법. - 제 1 항에 있어서,

상기 위치로부터 상기 소프트웨어 이미지를 획득하는 단계;
상기 가상 기계 인스턴스의 상기 컴퓨팅 리소스의 양을 상기 소프트웨어 컨테이너에 할당하는 단계; 및
상기 소프트웨어 이미지에 적어도 부분적으로 기초하여 상기 프로세스의 적어도 일부를 실행하는 단계를 더 포함하는, 컴퓨터 구현 방법. - 제 6 항에 있어서,
상기 소프트웨어 이미지는 상기 소프트웨어 이미지의 생성 시에 상기 소프트웨어 컨테이너의 상태를 나타내는 데이터인, 컴퓨터 구현 방법. - 시스템에 있어서,
하나 이상의 프로세서들; 및
실행 가능한 명령들을 포함하는 메모리로서, 상기 명령들은, 상기 하나 이상의 프로세서들에 의해 실행되면, 상기 시스템으로 하여금,
수행할 태스크의 명칭, 상기 태스크에 대한 컨테이너의 위치, 및 상기 태스크에 대한 포트를 표시하는 태스크 정의를 획득하고;
가상 기계 인스턴스들의 클러스터 내에서, 상기 태스크를 수행하기 위해 하나 이상의 컨테이너들을 실행하기 위한 요청을 수신하고, 상기 요청은 또한 상기 태스크에 할당될 리소스의 양을 나타내고;
스케줄러를 통해, 상기 하나 이상의 컨테이너들을 실행하는 상기 클러스터로부터 이용 가능한 가상 기계 인스턴스를 선택하고;
적어도 상기 시스템으로 하여금, 상기 태스크 정의에 적어도 부분적으로 기초하여, 상기 위치로부터 상기 컨테이너 이미지를 획득하고;
상기 리소스의 양을 상기 하나 이상의 컨테이너들에 할당하고; 상기 포트를 상기 하나 이상의 컨테이너들에 배정하고;
상기 태스크를 수행하기 상기 하나 이상의 컨테이너들을 실행시킴으로써, 상기 이용 가능한 가상 기계 인스턴스 내에서 그리고 상기 태스크 정의에 따라, 상기 컨테이너 이미지에 적어도 부분적으로 기초하여 상기 하나 이상의 컨테이너를 실행시키는, 시스템. - 제 8 항에 있어서,
상기 리소스의 양은 상기 이용 가능한 가상 기계 인스턴스에 할당된 리소스의 양(quantity)의 일부인, 시스템. - 제 8 항에 있어서,
상기 태스크 정의는 가상 기계 인스턴스들의 특정 유형들에 대한 친화도(affinity) 또는 항친화도(anti-affinity)를 나타내는 친화도 정보를 더 포함하고,
상기 시스템으로 하여금 상기 이용 가능한 가상 기계 인스턴스를 선택하게 하는 상기 실행 가능한 명령들은, 상기 시스템으로 하여금 상기 친화도 정보에 적어도 부분적으로 기초하여 상기 이용 가능한 가상 기계 인스턴스를 선택하게 하는 명령들을 더 포함하는, 시스템. - 제 8 항에 있어서,
로드 밸런서(load balancer)는 상기 클러스터의 가상 기계 인스턴스들을 통한 트래픽을 밸런싱하는, 시스템. - 제 8 항에 있어서,

상기 하나 이상의 컨테이너들이 그룹에 할당되고;
상기 그룹의 멤버들이 동일한 가상 기계 인스턴스 상에서 실행되도록 조정되는 것을 더 특정하는, 시스템. - 제 8 항에 있어서,

상기 통신의 수신에 응답하여, 상기 태스크를 수행하도록 상기 인스턴스 내의 컨테이너를 인스턴스화하고;
상기 컨테이너에 대한 건강 정보를 획득하기 위해 상기 컨테이너를 모니터링하고,
상기 건강 정보에 적어도 부분적으로 기초하여, 상기 컨테이너가 에러를 경험했다고 만들어진 판정의 결과로서, 상기 에러를 경험한 상기 컨테이너를 대체하도록 새로운 컨테이너를 인스턴스화하는, 비일시적 컴퓨터 판독가능 저장 매체. - 제 16 항에 있어서,
상기 클러스터의 인스턴스들의 양(quantity)은 자동 스케일링 서비스에 의해, 상기 클러스터의 상기 인스턴스들 내의 컨테이너들에 의한 리소스 요구(resource demand)에 적어도 부분적으로 의존하여, 동적으로 증가되거나 감소되는, 비일시적 컴퓨터 판독가능 저장 매체. - 제 16 항에 있어서,
