Abstract
Description
도 1은 뼈의 골유도성 및 골전도성을 증가시키도록 구성된 주입형 임플란트를 도시하고, 주입형 임플란트는 DBM 섬유, DBM 입자, 알지네이트, 인산 완충 식염수 및 멸균 여과수를 포함한다.
도 2는 뼈의 골유도성 및 골전도성을 증가시키도록 구성된 성형성 임플란트를 도시하고, 성형성 임플란트는 DBM 섬유, DBM 입자, DBM 칩, 알지네이트, 인산 완충 식염수 및 멸균 여과수를 포함한다.
도 3은 래트 2-레벨 후측방 유합술(PLF) 연구 결과를 나타낸 표이며, 여기서 대상은 두 그룹으로 나누어지는데, 그룹 1은 수술 부위에 주입형 무균 임플란트가 대상에게 이식되고 그룹 2는 수술 부위에 조사된 성형성 퍼티가 대상에게 이식되었다. 방사선 조사된 성형성 퍼티가 24개의 일측성 세그먼트 중 8개(33%)를 유합하는 반면 주입형 무균 임플란트는 24개의 일측성 세그먼트 중 24개(100%)를 유합하였음을 촉진 및 방사선 촬영을 통해 결과에서 보여주었다. 또한 방사선 조사된 치료 그룹에 비해 무균 그룹에서 신생 골이 보다 강화되고 조직화된 것이 방사선 촬영으로 관찰되었다.
도 4는 주입형 무균 임플란트가 투여된 그룹 1의 래트 대상의 x-선 및 이식 후 2주, 4주 및 8주에서의 경과를 도시한다.
도 5는 방사선 조사된 성형성 퍼티가 투여된 그룹 2의 래트 대상의 x-선 및 이식 후 2주, 4주 및 8주에서의 경과를 도시한다.
도 6은 대상이 6 그룹으로 나누어진 토끼 PLF 연구 결과의 표를 도시한다; 그룹 1은 수술 부위에 주입형 퍼티가 이식된 대상을 포함하고, 그룹 2는 수술 부위에 성형성 임플란트가 이식된 대상을 포함하며, 그룹 3은 그룹 1의 주입형 퍼티 및 수술 부위에 50% 자가이식편을 포함하는 배합물로 이식된 대상을 포함하고, 그룹 4는 그룹 2의 성형성 임플란트 및 수술 부위에 50% 자가이식편을 포함하는 배합물로 이식된 대상을 포함하며, 그룹 5는 수술 부위에 기인정(predicate) 방사선 조사된 퍼티로 이식된 대상을 포함하고, 그룹 6은 수술 부위에 대조 자가이식편으로 이식된 대상을 포함하였다. 그룹 1은 6개 세그먼트 중 3개에서 양측성 유합을 일으켰고 12개 세그먼트 중 6개는 일측성 유합을 일으켰으며, 그룹 2는 6개 세그먼트 중 0개에서 양측성 유합을 일으켰고 12개 세그먼트 중 1개에서 일측성 유합을 일으켰으며, 그룹 3은 6개 세그먼트 중 3개에서 양측성 유합을 일으켰고 12개 세그먼트 중 6개에서 일측성 유합을 일으켰으며, 그룹 4는 6개 세그먼트 중 1개에서 양측성 유합을 일으켰고 12개 세그먼트 중 2개에서 일측성 유합을 일으켰으며, 그룹 5는 6개 세그먼트 중 0개 세그먼트에서 양측성 유합을 일으켰고 12 개 세그먼트 중 0개에서 일측성 유합을 일으켰으며, 그룹 6은 6개 세그먼트 중 3개에서 양측성 유합을 일으켰고 12개 세그먼트 중 6개에서 일측성 유합을 일으켰음을 결과에서 보여주었다.
도 7은 주입형 퍼티를 투여한 그룹 1의 토끼 대상의 x-선을 도시한다.
도 8은 성형성 임플란트를 투여한 그룹 2의 토끼 대상의 x-선을 도시한다.
도면들은 일정한 축척이 아닐 수 있음이 이해되어야 한다. 또한, 도면 내의 객체들 간의 관계는 일정한 축척이 아닐 수 있으며, 크기에 대해 사실상 반대 관계를 가질 수 있다. 이 도면들은 도시된 각 객체의 구조에 대한 이해 및 명확성을 제공하기 위한 것이며, 따라서 일부 특징은 구조의 특정한 특징을 설명하기 위해 과장될 수 있다.
Claims (20)
- 골 성장을 촉진시키기 위해 골 결함 부위 또는 그 주변에 맞도록 구성된 주입형(injectable) 임플란트로서, 섬유 및 입자 형태로 존재하는 동결 건조된 탈회 골기질(DBM); 알지네이트; 및 액체 담체를 포함하되, 상기 DBM은 상기 주입형 임플란트의 총 중량의 약 20 중량% 내지 약 40 중량%의 양이고, 상기 알지네이트는 상기 주입형 임플란트의 총 중량의 약 1 중량% 내지 약 10 중량%의 양이며, 상기 액체 담체는 상기 주입형 임플란트의 총 중량의 약 50 중량% 내지 약 70 중량%의 양인, 주입형 임플란트.
- 제1항에 있어서, (i) 상기 결함은 골 공극이고 상기 주입형 임플란트는 주입형 퍼티 형태인 골 공극 충진제이거나, 또는 (ii) 상기 액체 담체는 인산 완충 식염수(PBS)인, 주입형 임플란트.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 DBM은 상기 주입형 임플란트의 총 중량을 기준으로 약 28 중량%의 양이고, 상기 알지네이트는 상기 주입형 임플란트의 총 중량을 기준으로 약 6 중량%의 양이며, 상기 인산 완충 식염수는 상기 주입형 임플란트의 총 중량을 기준으로 약 66 중량%의 양인, 주입형 임플란트.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 섬유 형태는 크기가 약 1 내지 약 7mm이고, 상기 입자 형태는 크기가 약 100 미크론 내지 약 1,000 미크론인, 주입형 임플란트.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 주입형 임플란트는 무균 처리된 주입형 임플란트이고, 상기 주입형 임플란트는 멸균수를 더 포함하며, 퍼티 형태인, 주입형 임플란트.
- 제1항에 있어서, 섬유 및 입자 형태의 비가 50:50인, 주입형 임플란트.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 알지네이트는 멸균 알긴산 나트륨 분말이고, 상기 알지네이트는 입자 크기가 약 100 내지 1,000 미크론인, 주입형 임플란트.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 주입형 임플란트는 콜라겐을 함유하지 않는, 주입형 임플란트.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 주입형 임플란트는 적어도 하나의 점도 강화제, 생분해성 중합체, 미네랄 입자 또는 치료제를 포함하는, 주입형 임플란트.
- 골 성장을 촉진시키기 위해 골 결함 부위 또는 그 주변에 맞도록 구성된 성형성(moldable) 임플란트로서, 섬유, 입자 및 칩 형태로 존재하는 동결 건조된 탈회 골기질(DBM)을 포함하되, 상기 DBM은 상기 성형성 임플란트의 총 중량을 기준으로 약 15 중량% 내지 약 40 중량%의 양이고, 상기 성형성 임플란트는 상기 성형성 임플란트의 총 중량을 기준으로 약 3 중량% 내지 약 20 중량%의 양으로 알지네이트를 포함하는, 성형성 임플란트.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 성형성 임플란트는 상기 성형성 임플란트의 총 중량을 기준으로 약 40 중량% 내지 약 60 중량%의 양으로 인산 완충 식염수를 포함하는 수성 담체 및 멸균 여과수를 더 포함하는, 성형성 임플란트.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 결함은 골 공극이고 상기 성형성 임플란트는 퍼티 형태인 골 공극 충진제인, 성형성 임플란트.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 DBM은 상기 성형성 임플란트의 총 중량을 기준으로 약 30 중량%의 양이고, 상기 알지네이트는 상기 성형성 임플란트의 총 중량을 기준으로 약 14 중량%의 양이고, 상기 인산 완충 식염수는 상기 성형성 임플란트의 총 중량을 기준으로 약 54 중량%의 양인, 성형성 임플란트.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 섬유 형태는 크기가 약 1 내지 약 7 mm이고, 상기 입자 형태는 크기가 약 100 미크론 내지 약 1,000 미크론이며, 상기 칩은 크기가 약 1 내지 약 4 mm인, 성형성 임플란트.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 성형성 임플란트는 무균 처리된 임플란트이고 퍼티 형태인, 성형성 임플란트.
- 제10항에 있어서, 상기 섬유, 입자 및 칩 형태는 완전 탈회되고, 섬유, 입자 및 칩 형태의 비가 33:33:33인, 성형성 임플란트.
