Claims (13)
- 배터리의 전압 및 전류를 나타내는 센싱 신호를 생성하도록 구성되는 센싱부;
제1 내지 제m 기준 전류 레이트를 이용한 정전류 충전을 위한 기준 충전 맵을 저장하도록 구성되되, m은 2 이상의 자연수인 메모리부; 및
충전 명령이 수신되는 경우, 상기 센싱 신호를 기초로, 상기 충전 명령의 수신 시점에서의 상기 배터리의 충전 팩터를 나타내는 시작값을 결정하도록 구성되는 제어부를 포함하되,
상기 충전 팩터는, 상기 배터리의 SOC 또는 전압이고,
상기 제어부는,
상기 기준 충전 맵으로부터 상기 제1 내지 제m 기준 전류 레이트에 일대일 대응하는 제1 내지 제m 기준 충전 함수를 생성하고,
상기 정전류 충전을 포함하는 충전 사이클이 개시되는 경우, 상기 센싱 신호, 상기 시작값 및 상기 제1 내지 제m 기준 충전 함수를 기초로, 상기 제1 내지 제m 기준 전류 레이트를 순차적으로 이용하여 상기 배터리에 공급되는 충전 전류를 제어하도록 구성되는 배터리 관리 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서,

- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 기준 충전 맵은, 상기 제1 내지 제m 기준 전류 레이트에 일대일 대응하는 제1 내지 제m 기준 배열을 포함하고,
각 기준 배열은, 제1 내지 제n 기준값 및 제1 내지 제n 경계값을 포함하되, n은 2 이상의 자연수고,
i이 2 이상 m 이하의 자연수고, j는 1 이상 n 이하의 자연수라고 할 때,
상기 제1 기준 배열의 제j 경계값은, 상기 배터리의 충전 팩터가 제j 기준값과 동일한 시점에서 상기 충전 사이클이 개시되는 경우, 상기 제1 기준 전류 레이트에 의한 정전류 충전이 허용되는 한계값을 나타내고,
제i 기준 배열의 제j 경계값은, 상기 배터리의 충전 팩터가 제i-1 기준 배열의 제j 경계값에 도달한 시점부터, 제i 기준 전류 레이트에 의한 정전류 충전이 허용되는 한계값을 나타내는 배터리 관리 시스템.
- 제3항에 있어서,
상기 제i 기준 전류 레이트는, 상기 제i-1 기준 전류 레이트보다 작은 배터리 관리 시스템.
- 제3항에 있어서,
k는 2 이상 n 이하의 자연수라고 할 때,
제k 기준값은, 제k-1 기준값보다 크고,
상기 제i 기준 배열의 제k 경계값은, 상기 제i 기준 배열의 제k-1 경계값보다 큰 배터리 관리 시스템.
- 제3항에 있어서,
상기 제어부는,
상기 충전 명령의 수신 시점에서의 상기 배터리의 충전 팩터인 시작값을 기초로, 상기 제1 내지 제m 기준 충전 함수로부터 제1 내지 제m 전환값을 각각 결정한 다음, 제1 제어 신호를 출력하도록 구성되되,
상기 제1 제어 신호는, 상기 충전 전류를 상기 제1 기준 전류 레이트와 동일하게 설정할 것을 요청하는 신호인 배터리 관리 시스템.
- 제6항에 있어서,
상기 제어부는,
전류 인덱스를 나타내는 자연수인 z가 m 미만인 경우, 제z 기준 전류 레이트의 상기 충전 전류에 의해 상기 배터리의 충전 팩터가 제z 전환값에 도달한 것에 응답하여, z를 1만큼 증가시킨 다음 제z 제어 신호를 출력하도록 구성되되,
상기 제z 제어 신호는, 상기 충전 전류를 제z 기준 전류 레이트와 동일하게 설정할 것을 요청하는 신호인 배터리 관리 시스템.
- 제7항에 있어서,
상기 제어부는,
상기 제m 기준 전류 레이트의 상기 충전 전류에 의해 상기 배터리의 충전 팩터가 상기 제m 전환값에 도달한 것에 응답하여, 상기 정전류 충전으로부터 임계 전압에 의한 정전압 충전으로 전환할 것을 요청하는 전환 신호를 출력하도록 구성되는 배터리 관리 시스템.
- 제8항에 있어서,
상기 제어부는,
상기 임계 전압을 상기 배터리의 충전 팩터가 상기 제m 전환값에 도달한 시점에서의 상기 배터리의 전압과 동일하게 설정하도록 구성되는 배터리 관리 시스템.
- 제8항에 있어서,
상기 제어부는,
상기 정전압 충전 중 상기 배터리의 전류가 임계 전류에 도달한 것에 응답하여, 상기 정전압 충전을 종료하도록 구성되는 배터리 관리 시스템.
- 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 상기 배터리 관리 시스템을 포함하는 배터리 팩.
- 제11항에 따른 상기 배터리 팩을 포함하는 전기 차량.
- 배터리 관리 방법에 있어서,
제1 내지 제m 기준 전류 레이트를 이용한 정전류 충전을 위한 기준 충전 맵으로부터 상기 제1 내지 제m 기준 전류 레이트에 일대일 대응하는 제1 내지 제m 기준 충전 함수를 생성하는 단계;
충전 명령이 수신되는 경우, 상기 충전 명령의 수신 시점에서의 상기 배터리의 충전 팩터인 시작값을 결정하는 단계;
상기 시작값을 기초로, 상기 제1 내지 제m 기준 충전 함수로부터 제1 내지 제m 전환값을 각각 결정하는 단계;
상기 정전류 충전을 포함하는 충전 사이클을 개시하기 위해, 충전 전류를 상기 제1 기준 전류 레이트와 동일하게 설정할 것을 요청하는 제1 제어 신호를 출력하는 단계; 및
전류 인덱스를 나타내는 자연수인 z가 m 미만인 경우, 제z 기준 전류 레이트의 상기 충전 전류에 의해 상기 배터리의 충전 팩터가 제z 전환값에 도달한 것에 응답하여, z를 1만큼 증가시킨 다음, 상기 충전 전류를 제z 기준 전류 레이트와 동일하게 설정할 것을 요청하는 제z 제어 신호를 출력하는 단계를 포함하는 배터리 관리 방법.
