Description
도 1은 본원에 기술된 흡착제 용적(예컨대, PPAV)이 사용될 수 있는 가능한 위치를 도시하는 예시적인 증발 배출 제어 캐니스터 시스템의 단면도이다.

도 7은 2개의 상이한 샘플 크기에 대한 예시 및 비교 제형에 대한 가장 안좋은 날 배출(mg)의 비교를 나타낸다.
도 8은 본원에 기술된 바와 같은 예시적인 제형과 비교하여 비교예에 대한 다이 마모의 효과를 나타낸다.

Claims (18)
- 흡착 조성물로서,
약 10 내지 약 50 wt%의 활성 흡착 물질;
약 3 내지 약 40 wt%의 유리 마이크로구체; 및
100 wt%에 대한 차이의 양의 적어도 하나의 첨가제 물질을 포함하는, 흡착 조성물. - 제1항에 있어서, 활성 흡착 물질은 활성탄, 탄소 차콜, 제올라이트, 점토, 다공성 중합체, 다공성 알루미나, 다공성 실리카, 분자 체, 카올린, 티타니아, 세리아, 또는 이의 조합을 포함하는, 흡착 조성물.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 활성 흡착 물질은 활성탄 분말을 포함하는, 흡착 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 활성 흡착 물질은 목재, 목재 더스트, 목재 가루, 면 린터, 피트(peat), 석탄, 코코넛, 리그나이트, 탄수화물, 석유 피치, 석유 코크스, 콜타르 피치(coal tar pitch), 과일 피트(fruit pit), 과일 스톤(fruit stone), 너트 쉘, 너트 피트, 톱밥, 야자수, 야채, 합성 중합체, 천연 중합체, 리그노셀룰로오스 물질, 또는 이의 조합 중 적어도 하나로부터 유래되는, 흡착 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 활성탄은 약 600 내지 약 2200, 또는 약 800 내지 약 1800, 또는 약 1000 내지 약 1600 제곱미터/그램의 질소 B.E.T. 표면적을 특징으로 하는, 흡착 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 첨가제 물질은 (i) 유기 결합제, 점토 결합제, 하소 점토 결합제, 미네랄 플럭스 또는 이의 조합 중 적어도 하나를 포함하고, (ii) 볼 점토를 배제하거나, (iii) (i) 및 (ii)의 조합을 포함하는, 흡착 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 미네랄 플럭스는 장석 광물인, 흡착 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 미네랄 플럭스는 하석 섬장암인, 흡착 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 유기 결합제는 셀룰로오스, 셀룰로오스 유도체, 또는 이의 조합을 포함하는, 흡착 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 유기 결합제는 카르복시메틸 셀룰로오스, 메틸 셀룰로오스, 에틸 셀룰로오스, 에틸 메틸 셀룰로오스, 하이드록시에틸 셀룰로오스, 하이드록시프로필 셀룰로오스, 하이드록시에틸 메틸 셀룰로오스, 하이드록시프로필 메틸 셀룰로오스, 메틸 하이드록시에틸 셀룰로오스, 에틸 하이드록시에틸 셀룰로오스, 방향족 술포네이트의 결정질 염, 폴리푸르푸릴 알코올, 폴리에스테르, 폴리에폭시드, 폴리우레탄 중합체, 폴리비닐 알코올 또는 이의 조합 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는, 흡착 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 점토 결합제는 제올라이트 점토, 벤토나이트 점토, 몬트모릴로나이트 점토, 일라이트 점토, 프렌치 그린 점토, 파스칼라이트 점토, 레드몬드 점토, 테라민 점토, 리빙 점토, 풀러 어스 점토, 오르말라이트 점토, 바이탈라이트 점토, 레토라이트 점토, 코디어라이트, 볼 점토, 카올린 또는 이의 조합을 포함하는, 흡착 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제11항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 점토 결합제는 수화 카올린인, 흡착 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제12항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 하소 결합제 물질은 하소 키아나이트, 멀라이트, 코디어라이트, 점토 그로그, 실리카, 알루미나, 및 다른 하소 또는 비-플라스틱 불응성 세라믹 물질, 또는 이의 조합을 포함하는, 흡착 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제13항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 유리 마이크로구체는 약 500 μm 미만의 평균 직경을 갖는, 흡착 조성물.
- 제1항 내지 제14항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 흡착 조성물의 압출된 형태를 포함하되, 상기 압출된 형태는 하니콤인, 흡착 물품.
- 제15항의 흡착 물품을 포함하는 증발 배출 제어 캐니스터 시스템.
- 하기 단계에 따른 압출된 흡착 물품을 제조하기 위한 방법으로서, 상기 방법은,
a. i. 약 10 내지 약 50 wt%의 활성 흡착 분말을 포함하는 활성 흡착 물질;
ii. 약 2 내지 약 10 wt%의 폴리머 결합제;
iii. 약 5 내지 약 50 wt%의 점토 결합제;
iv. 약 5 내지 약 45 wt%의 하소 점토 결합제;
v. 약 2 내지 약 20%의 미네랄 플럭스;
vi. 약 0 내지 약 5 wt%의 실리카 졸;
vii. 약 3 내지 약 40 wt%의 유리 마이크로구체; 및
viii. 물을 포함하는 흡착 조성물을 혼합하는 단계, 및
b. 상기 흡착 조성물을 압출 및 건조시켜 압출된 흡착 물품을 형성하는 단계를 포함하는, 방법. - 제17항에 있어서, 단계 (b)에서, 흡착 조성물은 하니콤의 형태로 압출되는, 압출된 흡착 물품.
