제1도는 2-[4'(R-2"메틸부틸카보닐)페닐메틸옥시]-6-데실옥시나프타렌의1H-NMR스펙트럼의 챠트.
제2도는 2-[2'(4"(- R-2"메틸부틸카보닐)에틸]-6-데실옥시나프타렌의1H-NMR스펙트럼의 챠트.

Claims (7)

  1. 다음식(I)로 나타낸 치환 나프타렌 화합물 ;
    식중 R1: 탄소수 1~18의 알킬기, R2: 탄소수 1~18의 알킬기, X : -OCH2- 또는 -CH2CH2-로 나타낸 기, n : 0 또는 1.
  2. 제1항에서, R2는 탄소수 2이상의 알킬기인 다음식(II)로 나타내는 치환 나프타렌 화합물 ;
    식중 R1: 탄소수 1~18의 알킬기, R3: 탄소수 2~18의 알킬기, X : -OCH2- 또는 -CH2CH2-로 나타내는 기, n : 0 또는 1, *C : 광학활성탄소.
  3. 제2항에서, n이 1이고, R3가 에틸기이고, R1이 데실기, X가 -OCH2-기인 치환나프타렌 화합물.
  4. 제2항에서, n이 1, R3가 에틸기, R1이 데실기, X가 -CH2CH2-기인 치환 나프타렌 화합물.
  5. 다음식(IV)으로 나타내는 치환 나프타렌 화합물을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정조성물 :
    식중 R4: 알킬 또는 알콕시기 R5: 광학활성기 X : -O-COO-, -CO- -OCH2-, -CH2O-, -CH2CH2- 및 -O-CO-COO-로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 2가기, Y : -COO-, -O-, -O-CO- 및 -CO-로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 2가기.
  6. 제5항에서, R4가 데실옥시기, X가 -CH2CH2-기, Y가 -COO-기, R5가 2-메틸부틸기인 액정조성물.
  7. 제5항에서, R4가 데실옥시 RL, X가 -OCH2-기, Y가 -COO-기, R5가 2-메틸부틸기인 액정조성물.
