Description
Claims (25)
- 가열된 유리체로부터 섬유를 생산하는 단계와, 이 섬유를 가스와 접촉시켜서 상기 섬유에 피막을 형성시키는 단계로 이루어진 피복 광섬유의 제조방법에 있어서, 상기 가스는 탄소질 조성물을 포함하고, 상기 접촉단계는 상기 섬유가 그 표면에서 반응을 일으켜 교차결합 탄소조직을 포함하는 접착성 탄소피막을 형성하기에 충분히 높고 다이어몬드형 피막의 형성을 피하기에 충분히 낮은 온도로 유지되는 동안 실행하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 가스가 알키닐을 포함하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 알키닐이 아세틸렌을 포함하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 가스가 염소함유 조성물을 포함하는 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 염소함유 조성물이 트리클로로에틸렌 및 염소로 구성된 군중에서 선택된 가스를 포함하는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 피복섬유에 열처리를 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 섬유를 게터러 함유가스 및 탄소질 조성물을 포함하는 조성물과 먼저 접촉시킨 다음, 이어서 상기 게터러가 없는 탄소질 조성물과 접촉시키는 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 탄소질 조성물이 아세틸렌을 포함하는 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 상기 게터러가 염소함유 조성물을 포함하는 방법.

- 전자기 방사선을 유도할 수 있는 유리섬유와 피막을 포함하는 피복섬유에 있어서, 상기 피막이 비다이어몬드형이고 교차결합 탄소 조직을 포함하며, 수소 1기압하, 1.24㎛에서 그리고 사용온도에서 측정된 손실율이 원하는 사용기간의 1/140 미만에 해당하는 측정기간내에 0.05dB/Km 이상으로 증가되지 않도록 하고, 정적피로 값 n이 70이상이 되도록 하는 밀봉성을 지니는 것을 특징으로 하는 피복 광섬유.
- 제17항에 있어서, 상기 측정기간이 원하는 사용기간의 1/45미만인 피복 광섬유.
- 가열된 유리체로부터 섬유를 생산하는 단계와, 이 섬유를 가스와 접촉시켜서 밀봉피막이 형성되도록하는 단계로 이루어진 피복광섬유의 제조방법에 있어서, 게터러를 도입시켜 상기 피막에 의해 포획된 수소 또는 물을 제거하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제19항에 있어서, 상기 게터리가 상기 섬유속에 존재하는 방법.
- 제19항에 있어서, 상기 게터러를 상기 가스내로 도입시키는 방법.
- 제21항에 있어서, 상기 게터러가 염소함유 화합물을 포함하는 방법.
- 제22항에 있어서, 상기 염소함유 화합물이 트리클로로에틸렌 및 염소로 구성된 군중에서 선택된 가스를 포함하는 방법.
- 가열된 유리체로 부터 코어와 크래딩으로 구성된 섬유를 생산하는 단계와 이 섬유를 피복하는 단계로 이루어진 피복광섬유를 포함한 구조물을 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 수소 또는 물에 대한 게터러를 상기 크래딩 주변에 도입시킴을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제24항에 있어서, 비다이어몬드형 교차결합 탄소조직을 형성시키기에 충분한 온도에서 상기 가열섬유를 가스로 처리하여 상기 피막을 형성시키는 방법.
