Abstract

본 발명은 고압 방전 램프를 점화 및 동작시키기 위한 회로 배열에 관한 것으로서, 상기 회로 배열은, 램프 접속용 출력 단자에 접속되는 벅 컨버터를 구비하며, 상기 스위칭 수단의 주기적 스위칭을 통하여 주기 ton 동안 전도 상태로 및 주기 toff 동안 비전도 상태로 유지되는 상기 스위칭 수단의 주기적 스위칭을 통하여 상기 램프에 전류를 공급가능하다. 본 발명에 따르면, 상기 회로 배열은 지속 시간 toff 의 일정 제한을 위한 수단을 포함한다.

Claims (9)

  1. 고압 방전 램프를 점화 및 동작시키기 위한 회로 배열에 있어서, 스위치 수단, 유도 수단, 및 정류 수단을 구비하되, 상기 수단들은, 주기 ton 동안 전도 상태로 주기 toff동안 비전도 상태로 교호적으로 제어 수단에 의한 상기 스위칭 수단의 주기적 스위칭을 통하여 전류를 상기 램프에 공급하도록, 전원에의 접속을 위한 입력 단자 및 상기 램프를 포함하는 수단에의 접속을 위한 출력 단자에 접속되는, 벅(Buck) 컨버터를 함께 형성하며, 상기 벅 컨버터는, 안정적인 램프 동작의 동안 자가-발진 모드로 동작하며, 상기회로 배열은, 스위치-온 신호를 생성하기 위한 부분 및 스위칭-오프 신호를 생성하기 위한 부분을 포함하는, 제어 신호 생성을 위한 제어 회로를 포함하며, 상기 회로 배열은, 상기 주기 toff 를 일정하게 제한하기 위한 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로 배열.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 주기 toff 의 일정 제한은 최소 주기 tmin 의 형태를 취하는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로 배열.
  3. 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 주기 toff 의 일정 제한은 최대주기 tmax 의 형태를 취하는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로 배열.
  4. 제 2 항 또는 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 스위칭 수단이 비전도 상태에 있을 때, 상기 제어 신호 및 상기 스위칭-온 신호를 생성하기 위한 상기 회로부의 사이에 커플링이 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로 배열.
  5. 제 2 항, 제 3 항 또는 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 커플링은 tmin 을 구현하기 위한 제 1 지연 회로를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로 배열.
  6. 제 4 항 또는 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 커플링은 AND 게이트를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로 배열.
  7. 제 3 항 또는 제 4 항에 있어서, 상기 커플링은 tmax 을 구현하기 위한 제 2 지연 회로를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로 배열.
  8. 제 4 항 또는 제 7 항에 있어서, 상기 커플링은 OR 게이트를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로배열.
  9. 제 6 항 또는 제 8 항에 있어서, 상기 OR 게이트의 출력은 상기 AND 게이트의 입력에 접속되는 것을 특징으로 하는 회로 배열.
