Abstract

The vehicle, particularly a semi-trailer, lifts, transports and sets down goods supports, having a load platform, a wheel bogie at the rear end, and a lifting mechanism for the support at the turntable end. The lifting mechanism (19) for the support (11) is actuated by relative movement between the platform (13) and the bogie (14), and can be mounted on the latter. It can have two or more lifting units, mechanically or hydraulically coupled together so as to transmit movement between them. The front one can have a lifting plate hinging on the platform. USE/ADVANTAGE - Particularly for roll-on/roll-off ferries etc. and reliable operation.
