Abstract
The present invention is a housing fastener for a blower, which comprises a base and a cover. The base is surrounded by a stop rail which comprises a plurality of fixing holes at proper places and a plurality of stoppers being convex at the edge of the stop rail. The cover is covered on the base, which comprises a plurality of buckling members extended out of the edge corresponding to the fixing holes; and concave parts near the buckling members corresponding to the stoppers. By the structure, the base and the cover are fastened to form a fan frame where the buckling members of the cover are firmly fixed to the fixing holes of the base to prevent from easy departure.
Description
- The present invention relates to a housing fastener; more particularly, relates to fastening a base and a cover together to form a fan frame where buckling members of the cover are firmly fixed to fixing holes of the base to prevent from easy departure.
- A fan frame of a blower according to the prior art as shown in
FIG. 4 comprises abase 3 and acover 4. Thebase 3 comprises a plurality oflong holes 31 of the side wall; and thecover 4 comprises a plurality ofbolts 41 corresponding to thelong holes 31 at the edge. When assembling, thebolts 41 of thecover 4 are plugged into thelong holes 31 of thebase 3 to form a fan frame. - The structure mentioned above makes the
bolts 41 of thecover 4 plug into thelong holes 31 of thebase 3 to form a fan frame. Because eachbolt 41 is only a flat piece extended out of the outside edge of thecover 4 with short length for easy plugging and thelong hole 31 is only a simple rectangular hole, the heat generated on using the blower makes the base be expanded and the side walls of the base be departed from the cover while releasing the bolt (as shown inFIG. 5 ). Thebolt 41 can also be departed from thelong hole 31 owing to be hit by an outside force so that thecover 4 can not be firmly established on thebase 3. So, the prior art can not fulfill the needs of the user on actual use. - Therefore, the main purpose of the present invention is to fasten a base and a cover to form a fan frame where buckling members of the cover are firmly fixed to fixing holes of the base to prevent from easy departure.
- To achieve the above purpose, the present invention is a housing fastener for a blower, comprising a base and a cover which is covered on the base. The base is surrounded by a stop rail to form a containing space. And the base comprises an opening part at the edge connected to the containing space; and a plurality of fixing holes deposited near the edge of the stop rail, where a plurality of stoppers is deposited convexly at the edge of the fixing holes. The cover comprises a hollow at a proper place; a plurality of buckling members extended out of the edge of the cover which are corresponding to the fixing holes; and a plurality of concave parts embedding the stoppers deposited at the edge of the cover near the buckling members. Accordingly, the base and the cover can be fastened together to form a fan frame where the buckling members of the cover are firmly fixed to the fixing holes of the base to prevent from easy departure.
- The present invention will be better understood from the following detailed description of preferred embodiments of the invention, taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which
-
FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an embodiment according to the present invention; -
FIG. 2 is a view showing the structure of an embodiment according to the present invention; -
FIG. 2A is an enlargement view showing a buckling member ofFIG. 1 ; -
FIG. 2B is an enlargement view showing a stopper ofFIG. 1 ; -
FIG. 3 is a view showing a status of use according to an embodiment of the present invention; -
FIG. 4 is a view showing the structure of an embodiment according to the prior art; and -
FIG. 5 is a view showing a status of unfastening according to an embodiment of the prior art. - The following descriptions of the preferred embodiments are provided to understand the features and the structures of the present invention.
- Please refer to
FIG. 1 throughFIG. 3 , which are a perspective view, a view showing the structure, an enlargement view showing a buckling member ofFIG. 1 , an enlargement view showing a stopper ofFIG. 1 , and a view showing a status of unfastening, according to an embodiment of the prior art. As shown in the figures, the present invention is a housing fastener for a blower, comprising abase 1 and acover 2. Thebase 1 and thecover 2 can be fastened together to form a fan frame where bucklingmembers 23 of thecover 2 are firmly fixed to fixingholes 17 of thebase 1 to prevent from easy departure. - The
base 1 comprises astop rail 11 around the edge to form a containingspace 12. Asleeve 13 is deposited at a proper position in the containingspace 12, where thesleeve 13 is plugged into ablade wheel 15 having a spindle (not shown in the figures). A surface of a section of thestop rail 11 in a direction is curved; and at the opposite direction, thebase 1 includes anopening part 16 connected to the containingspace 12, which is shaped as an enlarging outlet. And, thebase 1 further comprises anincline surface 161 on an edge of the stop rail near theopening part 16; a plurality offixing holes 17 deposited at proper position near the edge of thestop rail 11; a plurality ofstoppers 18 each deposited convexly at an edge of onecorresponding fixing hole 17, as shown inFIG. 2B which is anenlargement view 10 showing thestopper 18; and a plurality ofnut sockets 19 at proper position on thestop rail 11 of thebase 1. - The
cover 2 is covered on thebase 1 whose shape is corresponding to that of thebase 1. And the cover comprises atilt surface 21 at a position corresponding to theincline surface 161 near theopening part 16; a hollow at a proper place at the center of thecover 1 corresponding to the sleeve of the containingspace 12; a plurality ofbuckling members 23 extended out of the edge of thecover 2 which is corresponding to thefixing holes 17 and is shaped to hooks each with aguiding part 231 at the bottom, as shown inFIG. 2B which is anenlargement view 20 showing thebuckling members 23; a plurality ofconcave parts 24 each of which is corresponding to onebuckling member 23 and is deposited at the outer edge of thecover 1 to embed onestopper 18; and a plurality of convex ear each of which is corresponding to onenut socket 19 of thebase 1. By the above structure, a novel housing fastener for a blower is obtained. - When assembling the present invention, the
buckling members 23 extended out of the outer edge of thecover 1 are corresponding to thefixing holes 17 at the edge of thebase 1. Eachbuckling member 23 with aguiding part 231 is correspondingly put upon astopper 18 at the edge of thefixing hole 17. An outside force is downwardly added on the cover to plug the bucklingmembers 23 into thefixing holes 17 with the guidance of the guidingparts 231. Then, eachstopper 18 is buckled by a hook-shaped buckling member 23 while thestopper 18 is correspondingly embedded into aconcave part 24 near thebuckling member 23. And, eachconvex ear 25 on the edge of thecover 2 are also deposited corresponding to anut socket 19 on thestop rail 11 of thebase 1 to be fix together by afixing member 26. As the assembling is done, thebase 1 and thecover 2 are firmly fastened to prevent from easy departure owing to the expansion of thebase 2 caused by the heat generated on using the blower, orowing to being hit by an outside force. To sum up, according to the present invention, thebase 1 and thecover 2 can be fastened together to form a fan frame where thebuckling members 23 of thecover 2 are firmly fixed to thefixing holes 17 of thebase 1 to prevent from easy departure. - The preferred embodiments herein disclosed are not intended to unnecessarily limit the scope of the invention. Therefore, simple modifications or variations belonging to the equivalent of the scope of the claims and the instructions disclosed herein for a patent are all within the scope of the present invention.
