Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a glove and, more particularly, to a glove that covers a user's one hand and fingers.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- A conventional glove is made of plastic or rubber to have a waterproof function to prevent a user's hand from directly contacting the water. However, the glove made of plastic or rubber has a poor air permeable feature and has a coarse inner surface, so that the user easily feels wet and hot on his hand, thereby easily causing an uncomfortable sensation to the user. Another conventional glove is made of cloth to have an air permeable function to provide a comfortable sensation to the user. However, the glove made of cloth does not have a waterproof function, so that the water easily infiltrates through the glove to wet the user's hand, thereby decreasing the versatility of the glove.
- In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a glove, comprising a waterproof film, an inner substrate layer mounted on a first face of the waterproof film, and an outer substrate layer mounted on a second face of the waterproof film.
- Preferably, the waterproof film is made of a waterproof material selected from PU (polyurethane), TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) and PTFE (polytetra fluoro ethylene).
- Preferably, the inner substrate layer is made of a cloth.
- Preferably, the outer substrate layer is made of a cloth.
- The glove further comprises a rubber or plastic layer mounted on an outer surface of the outer substrate layer.
- The glove further comprises a moisture gel mounted on an inner surface of the inner substrate layer to protect the user's hand.
- The glove further comprises a rubber or plastic layer mounted on an outer surface of the outer substrate layer, and a moisture gel mounted on an inner surface of the inner substrate layer.
- The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a glove having waterproof and air permeable functions.
- Another objective of the present invention is to provide a glove, wherein the waterproof film has a waterproof function, and each of the inner substrate layer and the outer substrate layer has an air permeable function, so that the glove has waterproof and air permeable functions to enhance the versatility of the glove.
- A further objective of the present invention is to provide a glove, wherein the inner substrate layer has a smooth inner surface abutting a user's fingers to provide a comfortable sensation to the user, and the outer substrate layer has coarse outer surface to facilitate the user holding the glove.
- A further objective of the present invention is to provide a glove, wherein the rubber or plastic layer is mounted on the outer surface of the outer substrate layer to provide a waterproof effect.
- A further objective of the present invention is to provide a glove, wherein the moisture gel is mounted on the inner surface of the inner substrate layer to protect the user's hand.
- Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.

FIG. 7 is a front cross-sectional view of a glove in accordance with another preferred embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 8 is a locally enlarged view of the glove as shown inFIG. 7 . - Referring to the drawings and initially to
FIGS. 1 and 2 , aglove 10 in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises awaterproof film 11, aninner substrate layer 12 mounted on a first face of thewaterproof film 11, and anouter substrate layer 13 mounted on a second face of thewaterproof film 11. Thus, thewaterproof film 11 is sandwiched between theinner substrate layer 12 and theouter substrate layer 13. Thewaterproof film 11 is made of a waterproof material, such as PU (polyurethane), TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), PTFE (polytetra fluoro ethylene) and the like. Theinner substrate layer 12 is made of an air permeable material, such as a cloth and the like. Theouter substrate layer 13 is made of an air permeable material, such as a cloth and the like. - In fabrication of the
glove 10, thewaterproof film 11 is sandwiched between theinner substrate layer 12 and theouter substrate layer 13 to form a substrate. Then, the substrate formed by thewaterproof film 11, theinner substrate layer 12 and theouter substrate layer 13 is heat pressed or sewn to have anentrance 30 and a plurality offinger portions 20 so as to form theglove 10. - In such a manner, the
waterproof film 11 has a waterproof function, and each of theinner substrate layer 12 and theouter substrate layer 13 has an air permeable function, so that theglove 10 has waterproof and air permeable functions to enhance the versatility of theglove 10. In addition, theinner substrate layer 12 has a smoothinner surface 120 abutting a user's fingers to provide a comfortable sensation to the user, and theouter substrate layer 13 has coarseouter surface 130 to facilitate the user holding theglove 10. - Referring to
FIGS. 3 and 4 , theglove 10 a in accordance with another preferred embodiment of the present invention further comprises a rubber orplastic layer 14 mounted on theouter surface 130 of theouter substrate layer 13 to provide a waterproof effect. Thus, thewaterproof film 11 and theouter substrate layer 13 are sandwiched between theinner substrate layer 12 and the rubber orplastic layer 14. - Referring to
FIGS. 5 and 6 , theglove 10 b in accordance with another preferred embodiment of the present invention further comprises amoisture gel 15 mounted on theinner surface 120 of theinner substrate layer 12 to protect the user's hand. Thus, thewaterproof film 11 and theinner substrate layer 12 are sandwiched between themoisture gel 15 and theouter substrate layer 13. - Referring to
