Abstract
The Chaise lounge Repair Kit is an assembly that restores the comfort to outdoor/indoor chaises lounges, patio chairs and many others chairs. The assembly provides necessary support to the seat bottom and back, for improved comfort and safety.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to repair or prevent sagging straps or other material on outdoor or indoor chaise lounge, patio chair or any kind of chairs.
- 2. Description of the Prior Art
- This device is designed for reinforcing and/or replacing vinyl straps or other materials on outdoor and indoor chaise lounge, patio chair, swing chair or any kind of chair. This metal device as been laser cut to eliminate sharp edges and powder coated to prevent rusting. The brackets to connect platform and frame of the chaise, chair, provides an adjustable way to fit with all chaises, chairs.
- The Chaise Lounge Repair Kit is designed to solve or prevent the problem of sagging straps or other material, on outdoor or indoor furniture patio chair, chaise lounge or other kind of chairs.
- The sun is hard in summer time and the vinyl straps and other material become uncomfortable and unsecure after certain period of time. The repair kit will prevent or replace the straps or others to recover the comfort and the security on your chaise or chair.
- The repair or prevent kit, consists of a frame (see page 5 of 5), to which six (6) or four (4) support brackets are bolted. This complete assembly is placed on top of the vinyl straps or other material, supported by the brackets to reinforce or replace the existing seat.
- The brackets (see
page 1 of 5, 2 of 5, 3 of 5 and 4 of 5) are each fully adjustable, to accommodate chaise lounge between 20 inches and 28 inches and patio chair between 14¼ inches and 21 inches with a smaller platform. Some swing chair or others chairs can have more than one platform side by side and attached together, with multiply brackets to solve the problem. - Once adjusted to the width, the brackets are attached to the frame using stainless screws and stainless nylox nuts, tightened with the screwdriver and pliers.
- The repair kit will not be displaced or fall off when the chaise lounge, patio chair or others kind of chair is moved. But it is easily removed for use on a different piece of furniture.
- The platform is constructed of 16 gauge steel, precision laser cut to provide a “spring” action. There are no sharp edges. Then it is “powder coated” to prevent rusting.

Claims (1)
1. A new and improved assembly to provided additional support, consisting of:
A: a metal frame, constructed of 16 gauge, precision cut to provide a spring action, powder coated to prevent rusting.
B: adjustable brackets, the number varies depending on the exact needs. These brackets are fully adjustable to accommodate chaises lounges, patio chairs and others different chairs.
The brackets are attached to the frame using the provided stainless steel screws and nylox nuts.
The brackets are made of 6061 aluminum bar, ⅛″×1¼″×9″ before bending, precision punched (see on page 2 of 5) and precision bent (see on page 3 of 5) to fit on either round or square furniture frame.
