Abstract
A combination drawer includes a front panel module, a rear panel, two side panel modules and a plurality of bottom panels. The front panel module includes a first outer plate combined with a first inner plate. The front panel module has two opposite ends each provided with a first bent portion which has at least one first connecting section. The rear panel has two opposite ends each provided with a second bent portion which has at least one second connecting section. Each of the side panel modules includes a second outer plate combined with a second inner plate. Each of the side panel modules has two opposite end faces each provided with at least one third connecting section connected with the first connecting section of the front panel module and the second connecting section of the rear panel respectively.
Description
- 1. Field of the Invention
- The present invention relates to a drawer and, more particularly, to a combination drawer.
- 2. Description of the Related Art
- A conventional combination drawer comprises a front panel, a rear panel arranged opposite to the front panel, two side panels located between the front panel and the rear panel respectively, and a bottom panel located between the front panel, the rear panel and the side panels. However, each of the panels is made of plastic material and is formed by a plastic injection molding process so that the conventional combination drawer has a weaker structural strength and is easily deformed due to a heavier weight. In addition, each of the panels has four corners each having a right-angled profile, thereby decreasing the aesthetic quality of the conventional combination drawer and easily causing danger to the user.
- In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a combination drawer, comprising a front panel module, a rear panel arranged opposite to the front panel module, two side panel modules located between the front panel module and the rear panel respectively, and a plurality of bottom panels located between the front panel module, the rear panel and the side panel modules respectively. The front panel module includes a first inner plate and a first outer plate combined with the first inner plate. The front panel module has two opposite ends each provided with a first bent portion. The first bent portion of the front panel module has an end face provided with at least one first connecting section. The front panel module has a bottom provided with a first fixing portion and a first limit portion. The rear panel has two opposite ends each provided with a second bent portion. The second bent portion of the rear panel has an end face provided with at least one second connecting section. The rear panel has a bottom provided with a second fixing portion and a second limit portion. Each of the side panel modules includes a second inner plate and a second outer plate combined with the second inner plate. Each of the side panel modules has two opposite end faces each provided with at least one third connecting section connected with the first connecting section of the front panel module and the second connecting section of the rear panel respectively. Each of the bottom panels has a first end provided with a third fixing portion combined with the first fixing portion of the front panel module and a third limit portion abutting the first limit portion of the front panel module. Each of the bottom panels has a second end provided with a fourth fixing portion combined with the second fixing portion of the rear panel and a fourth limit portion abutting the second limit portion of the rear panel.
- According to the primary advantage of the present invention, the front panel module, the rear panel, the side panel modules and the bottom panels are connected easily and quickly to facilitate assembly of the combination drawer.
- According to another advantage of the present invention, the first outer plate and the first inner plate of the front panel module are combined together by ultrasonic waves, and the second outer plate and the second inner plate of each of the side panel modules are combined together by ultrasonic waves so that the combination drawer has a greater structural strength to withstand a heavier weight.
- According to a further advantage of the present invention, the first inner plate of the front panel module has a plurality of reinforcing ribs, the rear panel has a plurality of reinforcing ribs, the second inner plate of each of the side panel modules has a plurality of reinforcing ribs, and each of the bottom panels has a plurality of reinforcing ribs so that the combination drawer has a reinforced strength to withstand a heavier weight without producing deformation.
- According to a further advantage of the present invention, the first bent portion of the front panel module has an arcuate shape, the second bent portion of the rear panel has an arcuate shape, and each of the bottom panels at the two side panel modules has two chamfered portions abutting the first bent portion of the front panel module and the second bent portion of the rear panel respectively so that the combination drawer has chamfered corners to enhance the aesthetic quality of the combination drawer and to protect a user's safety.

FIGS. 1-12 , a combination drawer in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises afront panel module 1, arear panel 2 arranged opposite to thefront panel module 1, twoside panel modules 3 located between thefront panel module 1 and therear panel 2 respectively, and a plurality ofbottom panels 4 located between thefront panel module 1, therear panel 2 and theside panel modules 3 respectively. - The
front panel module 1 includes a firstinner plate 10 and a firstouter plate 11 combined with the firstinner plate 10. The firstouter plate 11 and the firstinner plate 10 of thefront panel module 1 are combined together by ultrasonic waves. The firstinner plate 10 of thefront panel module 1 has a surface provided with a plurality of reinforcing ribs 12 abutting the firstouter plate 11. Thefront panel module 1 has two opposite ends each provided with afirst bent portion 13. Thefirst bent portion 13 of thefront panel module 1 is perpendicular to thefront panel module 1 and has an end face provided with at least one first connectingsection 14. Preferably, thefirst bent portion 13 of thefront panel module 1 has an arcuate shape. Thefront panel module 1 has a bottom provided with afirst fixing portion 15 and afirst limit portion 16. - The
rear panel 2 has two opposite ends each provided with asecond bent portion 20. Thesecond bent portion 20 of therear panel 2 is perpendicular to therear panel 2 and has an end face provided with at least one second connectingsection 21. Preferably, thesecond bent portion 20 of therear panel 2 has an arcuate shape. Therear panel 2 has a bottom provided with asecond fixing portion 22 and asecond limit portion 24. Therear panel 2 has an outer surface provided with a plurality of reinforcingribs 23. - Each of the
side panel modules 3 includes a secondinner plate 30 and a secondouter plate 31 combined with the secondinner plate 30. The secondouter plate 31 and the secondinner plate 30 of each of theside panel modules 3 are combined together by ultrasonic waves. The secondinner plate 30 of each of theside panel modules 3 has a surface provided with a plurality of reinforcingribs 32 abutting the secondouter plate 31. Each of theside panel modules 3 has two opposite end faces each provided with at least one third connectingsection 33 connected with the first connectingsection 14 of thefront panel module 1 and the second connectingsection 21 of therear panel 2 respectively. - Each of the
bottom panels 4 has a first end provided with athird fixing portion 40 combined with the first fixingportion 15 of thefront panel module 1 and athird limit portion 44 abutting thefirst limit portion 16 of thefront panel module 1. Each of thebottom panels 4 has a second end provided with a fourth fixingportion 45 combined with the second fixingportion 22 of therear panel 2 and afourth limit portion 46 abutting thesecond limit portion 24 of therear panel 2. Each of thebottom panels 4 at the twoside panel modules 3 has an edge provided with two chamferedportions 41 abutting the firstbent portion 13 of thefront panel module 1 and the secondbent portion 20 of therear panel 2 respectively. Each of thebottom panels 4 has a side provided with at least onecoupling portion 42, and thecoupling portions 42 of thebottom panels 4 are connected with each other so that thebottom panels 4 are combined together. Each of thebottom panels 4 has an outer surface provided with a plurality of reinforcingribs 43. - In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the first fixing
portion 15 of thefront panel module 1 is a fixing hole, and the third fixingportion 40 of each of thebottom panels 4 is a lug inserted into and secured in the first fixingportion 15 of thefront panel module 1 to prevent a relative movement between each of thebottom panels 4 and thefront panel module 1. In addition, thefirst limit portion 16 of thefront panel module 1 is a hook-shaped flange, and thethird limit portion 44 of each of thebottom panels 4 is a leg abutting thefirst limit portion 16 of thefront panel module 1 to prevent each of thebottom panels 4 from falling downward from thefront panel module 1. In addition, the second fixingportion 22 of therear panel 2 is a fixing hole, and the fourth fixingportion 45 of each of thebottom panels 4 is a lug inserted into and secured in the second fixingportion 22 of therear panel 2 to prevent a relative movement between each of thebottom panels 4 and therear panel 2. In addition, thesecond limit portion 24 of therear panel 2 is a hook-shaped flange, and thefourth limit portion 46 of each of thebottom panels 4 is a leg abutting thesecond limit portion 24 of therear panel 2 is to prevent each of thebottom panels 4 from falling downward from therear panel 2. - Accordingly, the
front panel module 1, therear panel 2, theside panel modules 3 and thebottom panels 4 are connected easily and quickly to facilitate assembly of the combination drawer. In addition, the firstouter plate 11 and the firstinner plate 10 of thefront panel module 1 are combined together by ultrasonic waves, and the secondouter plate 31 and the secondinner plate 30 of each of theside panel modules 3 are combined together by ultrasonic waves so that the combination drawer has a greater structural strength to withstand a heavier weight. Further, the firstinner plate 10 of thefront panel module 1 has a plurality of reinforcing ribs 12, therear panel 2 has a plurality of reinforcingribs 23, the secondinner plate 30 of each of theside panel modules 3 has a plurality of reinforcingribs 32, and each of thebottom panels 4 has a plurality of reinforcingribs 43 so that the combination drawer has a reinforced strength to withstand a heavier weight without producing deformation. Further, the firstbent portion 13 of thefront panel module 1 has an arcuate shape, the secondbent portion 20 of therear panel 2 has an arcuate shape, and each of thebottom panels 4 at the twoside panel modules 3 has two chamferedportions 41 abutting the firstbent portion 13 of thefront panel module 1 and the secondbent portion 20 of therear panel 2 respectively so that the combination drawer has chamfered corners to enhance the aesthetic quality of the combination drawer and to protect a user's safety. - Referring to
FIGS. 12-17 with reference toFIGS. 1-11 , each of the first connectingsection 14 of thefront panel module 1 and the second connectingsection 21 of therear panel 2 is a substantially T-shaped slot which has an outer side provided with anenlarged entrance section 33 of each of theside panel modules 3 is a substantially T-shaped plug which is inserted through theenlarged entrance section 14 of thefront panel module 1 and the second connectingsection 21 of therear panel 2 as shown inFIGS. 15 and 16 and is locked in each of the first connectingsection 14 of thefront panel module 1 and the second connectingsection 21 of therear panel 2 as shown inFIG. 17 . - Referring to
FIGS. 18 and 19 with reference toFIGS. 1-11 , thecoupling portion 42 of a first one of thebottom panels 4 is provided with a lockinggroove 420, and thecoupling portion 42 of a second one of thebottom panels 4 is provided with alocking hook 421 inserted into and locked in the lockinggroove 420 of the first one of thebottom panels 4 so that the first one of thebottom panels 4 is connected with the second one of thebottom panels 4. The lockinggroove 420 of the first one of thebottom panels 4 has a side provided with anoblique guiding portion 422 abutting thelocking hook 421 of the second one of thebottom panels 4 to guide a movement of thelocking hook 421 of the second one of thebottom panels 4 relative to the lockinggroove 420 of the first one of thebottom panels 4. Thelocking hook 421 of the second one of thebottom panels 4 has a first end provided with a recessed receivingportion 424 to receive the first one of thebottom panels 4 and a second end provided with a hookedportion 423 hooked onto the first one of thebottom panels 4. The second one of thebottom panels 4 has a side provided with a guidingramp 425 located above thelocking hook 421 and facing the first one of thebottom panels 4 to guide a movement of the first one of thebottom panels 4 relative to the second one of thebottom panels 4. - In assembly of any two of the
bottom panels 4, the first one of thebottom panels 4 is moved toward the second one of thebottom panels 4 to abut the guidingramp 425 of the second one of thebottom panels 4. Then, the first one of thebottom panels 4 is moved downward relative to the second one of thebottom panels 4 so that thelocking hook 421 of the second one of thebottom panels 4 is inserted into the lockinggroove 420 of the first one of thebottom panels 4 by guidance of the guidingportion 422 of the lockinggroove 420. Then, the lockinggroove 420 of the first one of thebottom panels 4 is pivoted counterclockwise about thelocking hook 421 of the second one of thebottom panels 4 so that the lower portion of the first one of thebottom panels 4 is moved toward the second one of thebottom panels 4, and the hookedportion 423 of thelocking hook 421 of the second one of thebottom panels 4 is hooked onto the first one of thebottom panels 4 so as to lock the first one of thebottom panels 4 onto the second one of thebottom panels 4. - Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.
Claims (15)
1. A combination drawer, comprising:
a front panel module;
a rear panel arranged opposite to the front panel module;
two side panel modules located between the front panel module and the rear panel respectively; and
a plurality of bottom panels located between the front panel module, the rear panel and the side panel modules respectively;
wherein the front panel module includes a first inner plate and a first outer plate combined with the first inner plate;
the front panel module has two opposite ends each provided with a first bent portion;
the first bent portion of the front panel module has an end face provided with at least one first connecting section;
the front panel module has a bottom provided with a first fixing portion and a first limit portion;
the rear panel has two opposite ends each provided with a second bent portion;
the second bent portion of the rear panel has an end face provided with at least one second connecting section;
the rear panel has a bottom provided with a second fixing portion and a second limit portion;
each of the side panel modules includes a second inner plate and a second outer plate combined with the second inner plate;
each of the side panel modules has two opposite end faces each provided with at least one third connecting section connected with the first connecting section of the front panel module and the second connecting section of the rear panel respectively;
each of the bottom panels has a first end provided with a third fixing portion combined with the first fixing portion of the front panel module and a third limit portion abutting the first limit portion of the front panel module;
each of the bottom panels has a second end provided with a fourth fixing portion combined with the second fixing portion of the rear panel and a fourth limit portion abutting the second limit portion of the rear panel.
2. The combination drawer of claim 1 , wherein
the first bent portion of the front panel module has an arcuate shape;
the second bent portion of the rear panel has an arcuate shape;
each of the bottom panels at the two side panel modules has an edge provided with two chamfered portions abutting the first bent portion of the front panel module and the second bent portion of the rear panel respectively.
3. The combination drawer of claim 1 , wherein
each of the bottom panels has a side provided with at least one coupling portion;
the coupling portions of the bottom panels are connected with each other so that the bottom panels are combined together.
4. The combination drawer of claim 1 , wherein the first outer plate and the first inner plate of the front panel module are combined together by ultrasonic waves.
5. The combination drawer of claim 1 , wherein the second outer plate and the second inner plate of each of the side panel modules are combined together by ultrasonic waves.
6. The combination drawer of claim 1 , wherein the first inner plate of the front panel module has a surface provided with a plurality of reinforcing ribs abutting the first outer plate.
7. The combination drawer of claim 1 , wherein the rear panel has an outer surface provided with a plurality of reinforcing ribs.
8. The combination drawer of claim 1 , wherein the second inner plate of each of the side panel modules has a surface provided with a plurality of reinforcing ribs abutting the second outer plate.
9. The combination drawer of claim 1 , wherein each of the bottom panels has an outer surface provided with a plurality of reinforcing ribs.
10. The combination drawer of claim 1 , wherein
each of the first connecting section of the front panel module and the second connecting section of the rear panel is a substantially T-shaped slot which has an outer side provided with an enlarged entrance;
the third connecting section of each of the side panel modules is a substantially T-shaped plug which is inserted through the enlarged entrance into each of the first connecting section of the front panel module and the second connecting section of the rear panel and is locked in each of the first connecting section of the front panel module and the second connecting section of the rear panel.
11. The combination drawer of claim 3 , wherein
the coupling portion of a first one of the bottom panels is provided with a locking groove;
the coupling portion of a second one of the bottom panels is provided with a locking hook inserted into and locked in the locking groove of the first one of the bottom panels so that the first one of the bottom panels is connected with the second one of the bottom panels.
12. The combination drawer of claim 11 , wherein
the locking groove of the first one of the bottom panels has a side provided with an oblique guiding portion abutting the locking hook of the second one of the bottom panels to guide a movement of the locking hook of the second one of the bottom panels relative to the locking groove of the first one of the bottom panels;
the locking hook of the second one of the bottom panels has a first end provided with a recessed receiving portion to receive the first one of the bottom panels and a second end provided with a hooked portion hooked onto the first one of the bottom panels.
13. The combination drawer of claim 11 , wherein the second one of the bottom panels has a side provided with a guiding ramp located above the locking hook and facing the first one of the bottom panels to guide a movement of the first one of the bottom panels relative to the second one of the bottom panels.
14. The combination drawer of claim 1 , wherein the first bent portion of the front panel module is perpendicular to the front panel module.
15. The combination drawer of claim 1 , wherein the second bent portion of the rear panel is perpendicular to the rear panel.
